The outright harassment, intimidation and black bagging of political opponents in the US has reached new levels in recent weeks.
The extortion arm of the US government, the IRS, has admitted to targetting people with certain political beliefs for aggressive shakedowns. And good friend of TDV, Adam Kokesh, who was planning a peaceful armed march in support of the Second Amendment of the Constitution on Washington DC on July 4th was kidnapped in broad daylight on May 18th in Philadelphia.
Here is one of numerous angles showing Adam Kokesh doing nothing but submitting to the people assaulting him and being taken away.
This occurred at a marijuana legalization rally known as Smoke Down Prohibition. The Smoke Down event has occurred at Independence National Historical Park in downtown Philadelphia once every month since January 2013 with no prior arrests or police intervention which makes it clear that Kokesh had been targetted for takedown. He had just walked up to the microphone and the moment he began to speak a number of thugs in costumes accosted him.
It's been five days since and that was the last time anyone but the kidnappers has seen or heard from Adam Kokesh. There is evidence that he is in a federal prison and that comes from these documents which state that the reason Adam was kidnapped is because he "forcibly assaulted, resisted, opposed, impeded and interfered with officers and employees of the United States". I guess that's what the state defines not falling down when its costumed thugs tackle you.
To make things even more hilarious is that it took a few days before they charged him with assault. Prior to that they told anyone who called that he had been arrested for "resisting arrest". They must have since had many people inform them that in order to "resist arrest" someone must be getting arrested for something. So the tune has been changed from "resisting arrest" to assaulting US government employees.
Anyone who has seen the videos knows that the exact opposite is the case. Unless standing somewhere and talking and having people jump on your back and kidnap you is considered assault now!
And, for those who think maybe this is just a one-off event... Kyle Prouty of "The Panic Hour" had attended the arraingment hearing for Adam Kokesh with four other friends and they were then followed into the City Hall rail station in Center City Philadelphia. While quietly waiting for a train, Kyle Prouty was illegally searched and then also kidnapped by SEPTA police officer Nicole Lawson at 3:20pm on 5/20/13 after refusing to show ID. You can hear Kyle screaming "I do not consent to a search" while they search him.
Kyle was charged with "disorderly conduct", "obstructing a highway and other public passage" and "resisting arrest" and was also taken away in broad daylight.
Many know that we have been ringing the bell about the rising fasco-communist police state in the US and have been warning that more will just be taken away in the middle of the night as this progresses... and, apparently, the daytime too. We even admonished Adam Kokesh, nearly one year ago today, to defect from the US and flee to Mexico.
This is only going to get worse from here so unless you are willing to be kidnapped and put in a cage I also admonish anyone who can to flee from the US to do so now while you still can. If you can, get a foreign passport and renounce your US slave card... and if you are looking for a place to go, Galt's Gulch in Chile was set-up to be a sanctuary far away from the madness of the US and Western police states.
You know, it's almost funny that the typical statist will call the average true conservative, libertarian or anarchist "paranoid" for worrying that the government will start rounding up those who speak against it. Yet here it is starting to happen. Keep in mind that Adam didn't actually do anything just prior to his kidnapping. He didn't break any laws. There were dozens of people around Adam whose actual actions violated the ridiculous federal prohibition on possessing a plant and ingesting its smoke. Yet it was Adam who was targeted for a very assault by the costumed thugs.
Obviously the government will go for the most public dissenters first. But their scope is bound to increase from the most vocal to include a whole assortment of others it considers a threat. Those who call for the reduction or elimination of taxes, the food storers, the gold and silver buyers, the Bitcoin users... Even those who write about how a free market anarchy or a stateless society would function better than a coercion-based state society could find themselves being "disappeared" permanently.
AND THEN THEY CAME FOR ME
Martin Neimoller, a German pastor during the Nazi era had a famous quote:Today, in the USSA, a friend of TDV and prior Anarchast guest, Amanda Billyrock has modernized the quote:
First they came for Irwin Schiff, and I didn't speak out because I always pay my taxes. While it may be useless at this point to attempt to try to stop all-out tyranny in the US, it is still worth trying. And it is most certainly our duty to support those usurped by the state. For this reason, please support "Free Adam Kokesh" at Facebook or at FreeAdam.net.
Don't wait until they come for you to speak up. By then there may not be anyone left to speak for you.
