It will certainly be interesting if a “right wing” extremist group blows up a building with nitrate style explosives in the near future. Supposedly this massive purchase is needed for “Canine Explosive Training Aids.” Anyone who handles dogs will tell you that you don’t need a ton of explosives for a dog aid, you only need a quantity smaller than a sandwich bag. The purchase of such a large quantity of nitrate explosives for “dog training aids” is highly suspect. Of course, 1400 lbs of explosive nitrates just happens to be enough to destroy a good sized building. And since, as the article points out, normal people can’t acquire that volume of nitrate explosives without triggering alarm bells; the only way to get it below the radar is to have the state purchase it for you. |
