UC Davis Campus Police Pepper Spray Student Protesters Sitting Doing Nothing

Chris | InformationLiberation

Police Defend Use Of Force On ‘Occupy UC Davis’
UC Davis Police Chief Annette Spicuzza said officers used force out of concern for their own safety after they were surrounded by students.

“If you look at the video you are going to see that there were 200 people in that quad,” said Chief Spicuzza. “Hindsight is 20-20 and based on the situation we were sitting in, ultimately that was the decision that was made.”
Shameless pigs are shameless.

Watch the video for yourself. Who do you think are the violent criminals in this situation?

That video would be complete if someone had run up from the left and hit that fucking pig in the face with a Louisville Slugger. Assholes like him deserve it.

688 proof of how power abusive and corrupt most cops are and the excuse "just doing as ordered" is not acceptable.there will come a point when non violent people will take no more and have no choice but to lower themselves to the level and react.learn your history as it is repeating like a broken record.

98207 Absolute cowards.

This is when the term "pigs" is fitting.

Officer is reserved for those who serve and protect. They assholes aren't worthy of that title.

there was to me a seminal moment in bbc V live coverage. it was likely staged but an american english professor was interviewed by the bbc and the professor called in the bbc presenter for the exact nature of the rhetoric he was using. the presenter is well educated in the political sciences tried to pretend nothing had happened and this was picked up by the professor who went round the loop to drive the point home. this may well have been a political play, but the bbc is carefuly staged political rhetoric, that is all it is and for. i saw it as seminal moment as without rhetoric it is no more and it is the way officialdom works, by official record. officially the bbc is bankrupt and i don't refer to money.

<Officer is reserved for those who serve and protect.>

officer is a military rank in a military order, ie a dictatorship. the dictatorship is at peace when people are at war, with everything stolen business has to be created almost out of thin air.

they are just doing their job, they are the "peace keepers" who wage war for a paycheck. the orders from their superiors being in contradiction with their programming ("to protect and serve") is evidence of the mindsplit required for the police state to prosper.

69129 What cowards. The pigs i expect it from but the people on the side lines who are just standing there watching and letting it take place are the true cowards. Terrified of their master. They will not help a victim of abuse and assuault if their own life depended on it...resist a pig cop? NEVER! Stand up to them and take away their tools of terror? nope! never going to happen in the land of the ''free''. The people are too accustomed to obedience to ever resist this type of tyranny.

those kids look like a picture i have seen of the victims of guatanomo in cuba where they torture people. Those people being tortured strike the same pose. Curled up and looking down at the ground before their tormentor. They don't look their master in the face. Beaten down and turned into animals instead of people.

Who is more evil. The tyrant who writes the ''laws'' or the soul less creatures like this man who are willing to be the enforcers!! without the enforcers there is no tyranny.

190198 I think the mask hiding the scary fascist face of America is slowly falling. I am not from (north) America, in fact, I live in Venezuela. But I've traveled a lot and have met pretty awesome people from the US and have good friends over there. Yet, I always knew how the US Army, and the American politicians secretly (and sometimes openly) backed coups d'etat or dictatorships here, the rest of Latin America and everywhere else. I knew they secretly backed the nazis. So now the true face of that corporate, military State is showing to the surface. We, the peoples of the world, at least the ones that are not too blinded by the also American led media, see how their police machine state finally is turned against their own people.
I hope for the sake of the United States and the rest of the World that the society of the US remembers their constitution and their bill of rights and the good ideas of the founding fathers and create such a wonderful country as it was planned in those papers, and eradicate this scary juggernaut of the last 100 years.

69129 we already have that piece of paper called a constitution and bill of no rights. it failed to protect one ounce of liberty. it failed to stop these tyrants. it certainly failed to ''limit'' government. the only hope we have is to abolish it as an organized crime mob. reorganize based on peaceful cooperation instead of force. we see where force gets us. we have seen every form of rulership imaginable. each and every one has had their day and failed. it cannot be contained, controlled or limited. The only thing one can do is stop it from ever being created in the first place.
