The NYPD had at least one undercover cop pose as a protester at a demonstration last year related to the so-called Ground-Zero mosque, it was revealed Tuesday. One undercover, known as "UC 242," was hit with a summons because he did not show a cop his badge at the Sept. 11, 2010, demonstration at City Hall Park, organized by a pro-Palestinian group. The NYPD did not respond to a request for comment on the charge, which surfaced as Manhattan prosecutors discussed a possible conflict of interest at a court appearance for two men accused of plotting to blow up city synagogues.
