Rasmussen Poll: 83% Are Worried About Inflation

I wish they asked if they had bought any gold! - ChrisMost Americans remain concerned about inflation and lack confidence in the Federal Reserve Board to keep it under control. 

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 83% of American Adults are at least somewhat concerned about inflation, including 52% who are Very Concerned.  Just 14% are not concerned, with two percent (2%) who are Not At All Concerned.  (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The number of Americans who are concerned about inflation is two points under the highest level measured since regular tracking began in April 2009.  Since then, concern has remained in the narrow range of 77% to 85%. 

Thirty-six percent (36%) are confident the Fed will be able to keep inflation under control and interest rates down.  Sixty percent (60%) lack confidence in the Fed.  These figures include eight percent (8%) who are Very Confident in the Fed and 17% who are Not At All Confident.
