Florida Town Harassing Homeowners Over "Illegal" Signs, RoboCalls Their Homes Day and Night

WJXT Jacksonville reports:
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- St. Johns County officials said they've found a new way to crack down on unwanted signs lining their county's roads.

They said they're getting back at the people behind the signs with unwanted calls.

Many of the illegal signs have phone numbers for people to call. County officials said they're entering those numbers into an automated system, which calls homes as often as 20 times a day. The calls are made morning, noon and night to let sign owners know they're breaking the law.
