INDIANAPOLIS -- Sources told 6News that an Indianapolis police officer is under investigation after a woman said she was robbed outside a gas station by a man who flashed a badge, police said. Police originally said they believed the man suspected of holding up the woman at an ampm gas station at 38th Street and High School Road early Thursday was a police impersonator. Lt. Jeff Duhamell confirmed to 6News on Friday that there is an internal investigation into an officer in connection with the incident. He later said that he could only confirm the investigation, and not that it was in connection with the robbery. Read More |
