Just wait until the government is running your health care! ;)Nearly 73 years after it was mailed, a letter written back in the 1930's finally arrived at its intended destination in Stockton this week. The letter was just delivered to the Women's Center of San Joaquin County at 620 North San Joaquin Street in Stockton. Seven decades ago, the building was used as a convent. "The first think I noticed was the postmark. I siad 'No way'. It said December 23, 1937," said Women's Center director Joelle Gomez. "I kind of deliberated for a short while thinking should I open this? This is so curious. How could a letter be floating in the system for 73 years." Read More |
