 I like how they say "corporations have more power than governments," a classic dystopian projection on the future, meanwhile who is it beating down the rioters in the street? The government, of course! The reality is corporations have no power beyond begging you to buy their product, their power is in servicing their customer's every whim. Government on the other hand has a territorial monopoly on force and adjudication, taxes and violence. A corporation becoming too powerful can only happen due to government's monopoly on force, they can use the government to force people to buy their crap (like health insurance) and they can steal people's money for corporate welfare through taxation. They really want everyone to believe the opposite is true, corporations have some secret power to control your mind and steal from you through giving you incredible values and low prices, whereas government is needed to fight the evil exploiting capitalist devils who want to ruin us by giving us everything we want, making us decadent and sluggish!
