The second weekend of the Bernalillo County Sheriff Department’s new Party Patrol was fruitful and the program could be extended. BCSO is going all out by utilizing 16 deputies and the department’s helicopter to bust up underage parties. Early Sunday morning, the patrol arrested Miguel Montiel, 44, and charged him with five felony counts of giving liquor to minors. Deputies were called to a loud party in a South Valley neighborhood just after midnight. Montiel owned the house and was at the party when officers arrived. Read entire article |
