![]() Four U.S. banks were seized Friday by state regulators, two in Georgia, one in Florida and one in Arizona, bringing the total number of bank failures since the beginning of 2008 to 206 and 41 this year. Regulators in Arizona seized Desert Hills Bank of Phoenix. The bank, which had six branches, had about $496.6 million in assets and $426.5 million in deposits as of Dec. 31, 2009, the FDIC said.
