The whole climate debate is about, like all things of political significance, money and power. More specifically, using power to make money. The wealthy and inluential are only become so because of the people. The elite are waging a financial war with the citizens of the world, utilizing every dirty trick in the playbook. The data for global warming has not shown it to be fact, which is largely why it remains a debate.

The wealthy elitists will use any widely believed fabrication, such as religion, monarcy, or even doomsday tales, like anthropomoric global warming, to steal the wealth of the lower classes.
