The World According to Monsanto

On March 11 a new documentary was aired on French television (ARTE – French-German cultural tv channel) by French journalist and film maker Marie-Monique Robin, The World According to Monsanto - A documentary that Americans won't ever see. The gigantic biotech corporation Monsanto is threatening to destroy the agricultural biodiversity which has served mankind for thousands of years.

Individual people at Monsanto confess that they intend to control the world's food supply. They are committing murder to do it.

Via pesticides, GM crops, and economic manipulations, individual people at Monsanto are stealing our food - destroying the food chain. They cause sickness and death, and individuals at the FDA help them do it.

Individual guilt cannot be diminished by spreading it around behind a group name (like Monsanto or FDA). You make your own decisions and you cannot escape their consequences.

Monsanto's individual CEOs, accountants, secretaries, R&D people, lab techs, stockholders, product users, et al. - anyone who Knowingly, Deliberately, and Repeatedly steals or poisons our food is a murderer, and anyone who abets that process abets murder.

The most guilty are the farmers who are buying monsanto i saw recently on tv french farmers protesting from not being able to purchase monsanto grain .....

Who is the real criminal ?

It is human greed which is reflected in every social layer even in the consumer side people buy the cheepest unnatural gm food instead of biological food when i buy biological grow food i'm always critisized at home because it is more expensive.

So you see blaming someone evil for our own sins is just too convenient we are all guilty, guilty of ignorance and complicit because we buy there toxic waste.

You cannot blame someone else for your own stupidity.

Suppose someone goes everyday to the Mcdonalds or the quick
and that this person gets obese and sick, can this person blame the fast food?

Isn't he responsible for his own actions and why did he go to the fast food every day : because he's ignorant and even if someone told him that food from those chains is garbage this person would go anyway because it's cosy or the food tastes good extc ....

Well this whole monsanto story is exactly the same situation we (=the sheep) are always complaining oh why are they doing this and why are they doing that ! Please people do me a favor grow your own food in your backyard or buy a small piece of land and learn how to grow some food! Visit the web site peak oil for some excellent books.

If we are being fed by criminals it is because we have chosen to be fed by them !

We are all criminals and complicit it's only when you realize this that you will be able to change anything .....

Why blame the victim? Farmers are not the "most guilty". They've been deliberately lied to by individuals at Monsanto with the complicity of individuals on the FDA (much like Big Pharma's lethal lies about Vioxx, vaccines, etc.). Most people get their 'information' from TV, and the media say what corporatists want you to hear. Farmers thus believe liars who are presented as legitimate authorities. I blame the LIARS, not those who are lied to.

Yes, human greed is a bugger. But informed people don't 'naturally' buy the "cheapest unnatural gm food." The FDA actively refuses to label foods as GM because 1) people DO refuse to buy GM junk and 2) Big Pharma and Big Agri have bribed the FDA to the max. They decided 'for' us to stop us from making the 'wrong' choice (not buying GM). What arrogant control freaks. They also forbid states to label foods correctly. Individuals at Monsanto and the FDA are thus individually guilty of sickening and killing people (and livestock); and individual guilt can't be lessened by spreading it around in a committee.

194.74, which do you fear more? Being criticized by your family for buying naturally grown food – or poisoning them with GM foods? If you love your family, your choice is obvious.

I'm intelligent and informed, and I take it as my duty to inform others. - Why blame others for being ignorant when you can simply inform them? If you don't, then YOU are at fault.

Note that I was not talking about McDonalds, but about individuals at Monsanto who deliberately, repeatedly, and knowingly poison and destroy the world's food supply.

You must work harder to convince him – that is, if you Care about him. You can also set an example by saying why You refuse to go there.

When the FDA mandates that labels must lie, people are often at a loss. People don't know that this or that food is toxic because the FDA deliberately withholds that information and criminalizes correct labeling. - Inform yourself about the dangers of the trade agreement Codex Alimentarius. Again, healthfreedomusa.org is a good place to start.

No. Labeling oneself a criminal would be a form of identification with these corporatist-fascist traitors at Monsanto and the FDA. They have lied to us and knowingly, deliberately, and repeatedly injured us via poisoning our food supply and medicines. Their acts often result in permanent disability, brain damage, or death. There is no difference between these poisoners and terrorists; they are deliberately harming vast numbers of Americans and all others who use U.S. agricultural and pharmaceutical products. No sane person would identify with them. (Do sane people poison their children's food?)

So, I'm watching this and so far there seems to be a lot of "omitting" (it's not quite lying, omitting is the most accurate term for it that I could think of) along with fear-mongering.

To start with, the method of action of glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup) inhibits EPSP synthase, an enzyme that functions in the shikimate pathway. The result of this pathway are aromatic amino acids. What makes it so safe is that this pathway is only found in plants and some bacteria. It literally can't work on animals.

Also, the method used to create Roundup Ready soybeans is not nearly as frightening as they describe. Using terms like "crossing the species barrier" is just cheap. While they are adding a gene from a bacteria species, it is basically the same gene that is found in the soybeans themselves. It's merely a EPSP synthase gene that is resistant to glyphosate (the bacterial gene being just different enough to not be affected by the glyphosate) so it replaces the function of the natural EPSP synthase that is destroyed by the glyphosate.

I'm looking forward to watching the rest of this documentary, hopefully it improves. However, right now Star Wars is on and I have priorities (It is ESB after all).

One last comment, couldn't she at least be using google scholar?

I am adding the above link to provide some of the more recent information revealed about the cover up of Monsanto/GMO and their host of secret information, that we are being denied.

I know there will always be nay sayers, that is just a part of life, as is death. I simply trying to speak what I feel inside to be truth. If I can help one person learn how to improve their heath, then I feel like I am contributing to life.

So who am I to say what is causing this new mystery disease? I don't want to experience this Morgellons Disease, I know that much, and I know I feel deep compassion for those suffering with it.

Last I will tell you this much, I want to know what is on the label of the food that I consume, I just ask, is that too much, too controversial? If I can read how much sugar, fat, calories, etc is in a can of corn, can I please read on the label if it has GMO?
