Why the US Government Is Hated All Over the World

by Fred Reed

Must see Old 60 Minutes Exposé On 1976 Swine Flu Propaganda, Debilitating Vaccines
Something is wrong with the United States. I think most of us have noticed it. There is a mortal rot in the country, made manifest by many little rots that are hard to integrate mentally yet are, I think, somehow related. The change is grave, accelerating, probably irreversible, and fascinating. Things are not as they were.

The United States is the most hated country on the planet, followed by, to the extent that there is a distinction, Israel. So far as I know, there are no other contenders. You can say “Who cares?” as many will say, or “Screw’em if they can’t take a joke,” or “I’d ratherh be feared than loved.” All very droll. Still, it is an interesting datum. No country ever lives up to its own PR, but there was a time when America was widely admired. Now, almost universally, it is seen as a rogue state. And is.

This carries a price. The US consulate in Guadalajara is part fortress, part prison, with barriers and cameras and bars and rentacops, and they take away a woman’s lipstick if she is going to enter. Maybe a country that fears lipstick needs to think. The French consulate around the corner is wide open, like all others that I know of. The French, Chinese, Japanese and so on aren’t hated.

(1) The US government now lives in its own, strange, insulated world.

(2) The United States is the most militarily aggressive country on the planet, followed closely by Israel. I am aware of no other contenders.

Some of this combativeness is obvious – attacking Iraq for no good reason, occupying Afghanistan, threatening Syria and Iran, attacking Lebanon by proxy, bombing Somalia, putting troops in the Philippines to hunt Moslems. The US is also looking for trouble with Venezuela, threatening North Korea, moving to “contain” China (Doesn’t a container need to be bigger than its contents?), embargoing Cuba, pushing into Central Asia, increasing the military budget, and pushing NATO ever closer to Russia. (How stupid can you get? Very. Stay tuned.) And the Pentagon now has Africom, African Command. Africa is now America’s business.

(3) Powerful domestic hostilities grip the United States. Maybe you have to be outside of it really to see it. I live in Mexico. You can go for…well, five years and counting, without hearing angry talk about this or that group. In America, women hate men and men are getting sick of American women. Blacks hate whites hate Hispanics. “Affirmative action” engenders intense hostility that doesn’t go away. It isn’t the normal friction found in any country. It is serious antagonism quashed by federal force.

And the black-white-brown thing has very real potential for getting nasty. This we don’t talk about.

(4) A curious state of fear prevails in America, but it is a governmental creation, a calculated manipulative Disneyland. Perhaps soon we will have Terror Mouse.

Recently I was in Washington. Everywhere there were the artificialities of fear. The steel pop-up barriers in the roads, the stop’em-bombs steel poles on sidewalks, the endless warnings to report suspicious behavior on loudspeakers in the subway. The searches of everything, the metal-detecting doorways even on buildings of county governments, of schools. (Schools, for Chrissakes. What is wrong here?) And of course the confiscation of shampoo at the airport. This is nuts.

(5) The bullying of people entering the US. Any country has the right to determine who enters. Fine. If you don’t want them to enter, don’t give them visas. If you issue a visa, try to be courteous.

Violeta had a visa, issued by the consulate, both times when we went to the US. Still she got bullied by the border Nazis. It was ugly. I am obviously not a Mexican, but I get the same hostile questioning as to where I am going, why I was in Mexico, and so on. It is none of their business where I go in my country. Or shouldn’t be, but there are no limitations on governmental powers now. A friend, married to a Mexicana, again with a visa, got separated from her, and both got abusive questioning. She came out crying.

America was not like this. Now it is.

Compare this with the real world. I land in Beijing – evil commie Beijing, right? Maybe twenty seconds to see whether my visa was valid, clonk of stamp, thank you, no baggage search, into a taxi. Vi and I land in Paris, en route to Italy. Glance at passport, yep, it’s a passport, no stamp, no nothing, on we go. Italy didn’t even look at our passports. Grown-ups.

I am not ashamed of the United States. It is a hell of a country. Been there, done that, loved it. In two weeks in DC with Violeta, although she is clearly not American, she was everywhere, always, treated with perfect courtesy and friendliness, whether on Cap Hill or Farmville, Virginia. Americans really are good folk. The government isn’t. It’s the gravest problem we face, both internationally and domestically.

(6) The Constitution really is going away, or has gone. It never did work as well as it should have, but few things human ever do. Habeas corpus is dead, right to an attorney, congressional right to declare war – it’s not even worth listing the list. Joe iPod in the burbs doesn’t care because it doesn’t affect him, yet. Git them Hay-rabs, ain’t no draft, plenty sushi. Urg.

(7) The increasing, detailed, intrusive regulation of life, the national desire for control, control, control. Everything is the business of some form of government. Want to paint your shutters? The condo association won’t let you. Let dogs in your bar? Never. Decide who to sell your house to? Racial matter. Own a dog? Shot card, pooper-scooper, leash, gotta be spayed, etc. Have a bar for men only, women only, whites or blacks only? Here come the federal marshals. What isn’t controlled by government is controlled by the crypto-vindictive mob rule of political correctness. This wasn’t always in the American character.

Add the continuing presence of police in the schools, the arrest in handcuffs of children of seven, the expulsions for drawing a picture of a soldier with a gun. Something very twisted is going on.

How much of the public knows what is happening, or even knows that something is happening? I don’t know. But I don’t think that it’s going to go away. In ten years it will be an entirely different place with the same name. Almost is now.

86221 Axis of Evil

I don't think the 'axis of evil' would be complete without the inclusion of Britain, a dark and savage nation hidden behind an image unfulfilled that packs a grotesque punch well over the very weight under which it will itself collapse.

I too speak as a man with fondness for a nation spent, I was born there, I made my mistakes there and learnt, I lived there and really lived, loved there and really loved and I am consumed with despair for its wilful demise. I love it still, and with love to spare for people no matter where.

The people know that which they don't want to know, for they are victims too. It is a state of denial that they would no doubt assert it isn't their problem, an argument that is intellectually flawed, for so grave are the problems, they belong to everyone and what is done in our names marks us all.

Why we are hated around the world can also be attributed to the fact that we are in 130 countries, with over 700 bases and we have attacked 30 countries and dropped over ten million tons of bombs killing more than 10 million people, mostly civilians.

This is not counting all the DU weapons we have exploded equaling more than 4,000 Hiroshima style bombs worth of radiation in the middle east alone or all the genocide we have committed around the world.

The American public with it's controlled media, has no idea of the atrocities we have committed in the name of democracy, population control, world control, and greed at the behest of the globalist who have control over this government with Bush in office.

We are continually told we are the greatest and strongest nation on the planet yet we are afraid of little countries with no military, no weapons to threaten us and without provocation we attack them anyway after a story is contrived to feed to the media and the unsuspecting sleepy American public.

The axis of evil which includes the US, Britain, and Israel is controlled by the globalist corporations (fascist) and criminal banking syndicate, must be stopped in this country before it's too late and we are all incarcerated under this new dictatorship called the NAU.

2471 I completely agree with David Stanley and globalstomp. Thank goodness I am 85 with not too many years to go, I hope. Because of the USA, Britain and Israel the world has changed beyond reason.

67100 I am american and my wife & I were planning on going to Cabo San Lucas for our anniversary. I am truly DREADING this flight, not because I will be landing in Mexico. But because I will be landing at LAX when we get home. Damn, the lines, the numerous passport checks, one is really treated like an animal even though I am a citizen.

80229 Fred,

If you wish to understand, buy and read very carefully, Political Ponerology (Red Pill Press, Canada). Historically, all societies succumb to psychopaths and then some time later recover. It's just the turn of the USA at this point in time. The end of the last cycle in England was 1290. We are close to the climax of another cycle.

710 The US Government isn't just hated around the world it is hated by the American people as well. Some people have a very good reason to hate the US Government like this US Patriot Act crapola that in itself or at least in my opinion is pinko commie propagonda cooked up by the Bush Administration. Notice also that there is absolutely no talk about the 9/11 terrorist attacks anymore? Reason being is because the Government just thinks that the American people should just forget about it and act like nothing ever happened meanwhile they use it for an excuse on the So-called war on terror in Iraq and Afghanastan all just a bunch of Political BS just so the Bush Administration can say hey look were fighting the people that killed our people on 9/11 but don't they understand that the Countries that we are presently at war with had nothing to do with 9/11? they must think that the American people are as dumb as they look.

62156 The Anglo-American empire will crumble, it's step-by-step destruction has been planned for many years now, it was just a matter of buying enugh time to brainwash humanity into the right mode of thinking. This has now been accomplished.

You see, we are all supposed to label America, England and Israel for all the evil that controls this world. They will be slaughtered by the illuminate like a sacrificial goat on the altar of the new world order. A scapegoat for the sins of mankind, so to speak. Many of us are holding the very blade that will let the blood flow, by means of participation in 911 revelation, Bush family exposure etc. etc.. Many are playing right into their hands.

Do you really think Goerge W. Bush and his cohorts are such big idiots? They're fucking with you, and not the other way around. Don't think for a second you've gotten the better of them. You think the people of the U.N. are better, the "world united under the 33°?"

Everyone will believe that with the removal of "the axis of evil" as another commentator put it will enable humanity to meld together. There will be another, unexpected cataclysmic event together with these revelations that will force us to believe the obvious, yet the obvious will be a big lie. The supreme irony is; those that will bring us the new world of "peace and security" are the very same that were responsible for the suffering over centuries. Its all very Machiavellian...

The best part is, this process is all described in detail in the book of revelation.. Out of the ashes the final, secular world empire will arise - and will be pulverized shortly after its conception by the forces of the almighty sovereign of the universe, Jehovah.

Hold on tight, were in for one helluva ride real soon. Were almost done.

there certainly is a huge change coming, but it doesn't have to be the one in Revelations. It's up to us, each of us, what happens. You can sit back and watch what happens, but you are just as responsible for the results of your inaction as any other person is responsible for their actions. Your fear only serves their purpose in controlling you, but ultimately you are the only person responsible for your actions. Whatcha gonna do?

"they must think that the American people are as dumb as they look. " it's worse, the American people think they are dumb, and act accordingly...

218186 Jeezus Crispus! Fred vented in his article, Dave "the also ex-pat" chimed his support, "Globalstomp" threw in some facts, "JAY" agreed and then threw in, "I'm glad I'm old and almost outta here..." and before ya know it, it snowballed into "Anonymous 62.156's" religious analogy. Funny, ALL that talk and NOT a single word about taking back what's been taken from us all. I think the two words that MOST accurately describe Americans living under the Bush regime is "apathetic cowards". America's changed SO drastically because the apathetic cowards known as Americans today haven't got what the Proactive Patriots of "Once Great America" had, balls and determination...

710 Let's face it the Country is done for we as Americans are doomed DOOMED DOOMED!!!!!!! some people really have no idea how far this country has gone down the drain. It is really sad but like what friendstacy said whatcha ganna do? unfortunately there is really nothing we can do but sit back and compain about it. Remember in the 1950's when America was a great nation? Nobody could top the American people on anything for instance the American automobiles were one of the best assets money could buy and the Japanese autos were in a nutshell JUNK!!! now here it is 2007 and what is the number one car that Americans are buying today? The Toyoda Camry or the Honda Accord. Steal was also a big well to do back then as well. Now you have all of these factories that are closing down in America and moving overseas in those sweatshops for the cheap labor. or the cheap labor comes to America. So you see it is the greed of the mighty and elite families that are distroying this country. And it is going to get worse before it gets better I'm afraid...it's just like the Roman Empire we to will crumble as such!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All everyone has to do is do their own thing as individuals and don't be conned into joining the masses. It is not our responsibility to save the world, if the world wants saving it can save itself. In my own life, my only goal is to give help to those who want it. Such is this site, take it or leave it. I used to preach until I realized there is no point, now I do my own thing and if people want to hear it then great, if they don't there is no point wasting time on them. my name really is Stacy. I'll not hide behind "anonymous" posts and quiver in fear of the thought police. I agree wholeheartedly with Chris and also highly recommend Wilhelm Reich's book. Your only responsibility is to be true to yourself. Listen to your heart and it will guide you. That's what we gotta do, each of us. The solution is really that simple.

710 I want to agree with Chris about living your life the way you want to live it but sometimes it's just not that simple. For instance, In the old neighborhoods of where I live they ( US Government) want to tear down all these houses that most people who live there are older people who have resided there for 40 + years. After the government completes this task they want to build whatever they want in its place without offering these poor citizens ANY kind of assistance like I said most of these people are older senior citizens that depend alot on Social Security so they don't have that much to live on, let alone trying to find some place else to live with the housing market at $300,000 + my point is this pure Communism plain and simple.

When I say do your own thing I don't mean stop caring about other people, I mean it more in the sense of live free and do what you want to do without letting "society" stop you. Resisting tyranny is a totally natural thing to do and would fit perfectly under "doing your own thing" in my book.

As Anonymous said in post #6, there are many reasons to hate the united States government here at home. And those reasons are far more numerous than the Patriot Act I & II and the .

Let look at the militarization of the local police forces. Add in the Drug War and that the states can seize private property and imprison people without them being charged or even found guilty. Even that people can be imprisoned for using a substance on their own body.

The leading industry in America aside from 'defense' is the prison industry. For a free country we have the highest rate of imprisonment in the world. An industry which also uses torture and rape against its victims.

Aside fromth questions and inconsistencies surrounding Sept. 11th, there are the events of Katrina. The federal government was seemingly unable to do anything while the unorganized people of America attempted to bring aid and rescue, they were blocked. Its been recently released that the administration has refused 55 of 77 offers of foreign aid including hundreds of millions of dollars in fuel.

While corporations receive record profits, Americans pay record prices. Not just with gas and energy but healthcare, food costs, and education. Our domestic policy is every bit as bad as our foreign policy.

710 We need to get out of this war somehow before it bankrupts America like Ousama Bin Laden had prodicted that it would.America is taking to many casualties. We have poored billions on top of billions of dollars to Iraq and Afghanastan and look were it got us a first class ticket to no where. Also Iran is becoming a threat by refusing to stop nuclear programs, North Korea is another problem.I stongly believe that America is losing this war and we will never be able to get out of it. The President knows where Ousama Bin Laden is he just doesn't want to take him out because Halebertan and the Carlysle Group would take huge profit losses so unfortunely US Troops will continue to be Guinea Pigs in this so called "War on Terror" YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

203172 We need a Revolution.... especially in the most violent nations today........USA, UK and of course..Israel. Only then can we have a chance toward peace.
The other side is that the rest of the world will fight back.
The chances are that Russia, China, N. Korea and many other nations in Asia as well as Europe will band together to fight this next world war. The current trio of mass violence and terrror will lose the war. A lot of people will die. It's our choice..........Peace....or another World War.

208106 The United States action in the Middle East was, rightly or wrongly, inspired by the attack of 9/11. Yes, Bush did make a mess of things, but he never would have been given the mandate to do so without the 9/11 attack.

So, we voted him out. Despite it's flaws, the system actually does work.

Did Bush do a lot of damage? Yes. Will it take a long time to undo. Yes.

Will the United States survive?

Yes.

"Liberal" or "Conservative" is not a substantive choice, it is only the carefully crafted illusion of a choice, for both parties come together when they are instructed to.

"The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson."

"Fifty men have run America, and that's a high figure."
Joseph Kennedy, father of JFK, in the July 26th, 1936 issue of The New York Times.

If you care to know who runs the world you live in, view these films. If you care not then I leave you with this quote to ponder:

"There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution."
