![]() THE Skipton branch of a group which disputes the official version of events on 9/11 has invited the leader of a national movement to share his views on the terror attacks. The West Yorkshire Truth Campaign, which has previously brought high-profile speakers such as ex-MI5 whistleblower David Shayler to the town, will be welcoming the chairman of the 9/11 Truth Campaign in Britain and Ireland, Ian Crane, to the Narrowboat pub on Thursday January 25. Mr Crane, who spent 25 years in the international oilfield services and telecommunications industries, has devoted the past four years to researching the events of 9/11. He will tell the meeting at the Victoria Street pub that New York's Twin Towers were brought down with controlled demolition techniques rather than by fire and the impact of the planes. West Yorkshire Truth Campaign spokesman Anthony Beckett said: "Five years on from the horrific events of September 11 2001, we are still in the grip of a disastrous global War on Terror' that has cost thousands of lives and is taking away some of our most basic liberties. "A growing band of experts are now challenging the official story of 9/11. The implications of their research are explosive. If the events of 9/11 did not take place exactly as we have been told, then the entire basis for the War on Terror' is heavily called into question." Doors open at 7.30pm and everyone is welcome to attend. |
