RIAA Wants Web Browsers to Block Pirate Sites, And More (TorrentFreak)

Later today RIAA CEO Cary Sherman will outline his organizationís vision for increased cooperation between copyright holders and service providers. Sherman will seek agreements with user-generated content sites and promote a new understanding of the DMCA. File-hosting sites should be required to scan incoming links for piracy and search engines such as Google will be expected to do more, including fitting Chrome with systems to block infringing sites and divert users to official sources.
