A former police officer and member of Honolulu's "Crime Reduction Unit" who was seen violently assaulting two young men in an entirely unprovoked gangland-style attack last year has been sentenced to 30 months in prison. From KHON2: A former Honolulu Police Department officer has been sentenced for violating the civil rights of two Honolulu men. The officer filed a false report failing to mention his assault, meanwhile the other two officers who were with him and also failed to report his assault are scheduled to be sentenced later this month. |
