A Los Angeles Police Department officer pleaded guilty Wednesday to beating a teenager for poor grades and behavior, leaving bruises and welts on his body. Daniel Hun Chun, 40, who was off-duty when the crime was committed, faces a maximum sentence of six months in jail, according to the Orange County district attorney’s office.
