Arizona Cop Blindsides Innocent Woman With Baton To The Chest

Chris | InformationLiberation

In this shocking video out of Tuscon, Arizona a random young female college student walking casually down the street with a drink in one hand and her phone in the other is blindsided by a lunatic cop who smashes her to the ground with a baton to the chest. Note, the cop doesn't even bother to arrest her and falsely charge her, so it's %100 clear she committed no crime.

From the Arizona Star:
A University of Arizona student who went to University Boulevard Saturday night to check out the scene following Arizona's loss to Wisconsin in the NCAA tournament caught footage of a police officer knocking down a woman who appears to be walking by.

"These girls had been trying to get to their car. The girl is on her phone not paying attention and this cop came out of nowhere and just leveled her," said Phoebe Landolt, who shot the video. "After that everyone just started yelling and she started crying."

Landolt said she and her friends were standing near Park Avenue and University Boulevard when she caught the incident.

"We were just standing there checking out the scene and checking out what was happening, we were in an area that was safe," Landolt said.

Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson police spokesman said the department is aware of the video and it is being reviewed by internal affairs.
Don't worry, we're investigating ourselves!

2447 I'm sure the investigation will show that the coward was in fear for his safety and had no choice but to use violence to subdue the dangerous girl. No doubt that he will get a commendation for it.

We've all seen this sick comedy play out a thousand times.

Good point, no doubt he "feared for his life" and was forced to smash her because he thought her cell phone was a gun.

7941 Pure speculation here, but I think the uniformed baboon knocked the girl down to instigate a confrontation with the other students, thereby giving his fellow uniformed baboons a reason to go into full riot mode. You know they were champing at the bit to bash heads and make arrests. I bet they were sorely disappointed when the students didn't react the way they'd hoped.

Sick, rotten, pathetic bastards!
