Girl Writes Cop A Ticket For Breaking The Law, Cop Laughs Hysterically

Chris | InformationLiberation

A 14-year-old girl caught Baytown, Texas police officer Tommy King parking illegally, so she wrote him a ticket, ordering him to pay $10 to their local apartment manager. When King returned to his car to find the ticket, he says he "started laughing immediately."

Instead of ticketing himself and apologizing for breaking the very laws he enforces against others, he wrote the girl a $40 gift card for Toys-R-Us, in essence, buying the little girl off with her parent's own tax money.

The story is supposed to be all "cute," and to an extent it is, but really it just shows the cop's hypocrisy.

On the flip side, perhaps King should be applauded for not tasing her and having her arrested for "impersonating an officer."

Actually, it's called adding value. As I'm in the private sector and don't get paid by robbing people against their will, I work to provide as much value as I can in service of our dear readers.

"OK,if our services are useless don't call 911 next time you're getting mugged, robbed, have an injury or your house catches on fire(EMS and fire are emergency services too)"

“Socialism, like the ancient ideas from which it springs, confuses the distinction between government and society. As a result of this, every time we object to a thing being done by government, the socialists conclude that we object to its being done at all. We disapprove of state education. Then the socialists say that we are opposed to any education. We object to a state religion. Then the socialists say that we want no religion at all. We object to a state-enforced equality. Then they say that we are against equality. And so on, and so on. It is as if the socialists were to accuse us of not wanting persons to eat because we do not want the state to raise grain.” ― Frédéric Bastiat, The Law (1850)

We oppose the monopolist protection racket that is state-run policing, the socialists say we're against protection and emergency services.

"I am not the violent type, but there was an officer killed here recently in the line of duty which is why I'm pissed off when I see stupid shit like this."

Police don't even make the list for top 10 most dangerous jobs:

How pissed do you get when loggers die? Fishermen? Both are risking their lives daily in service of their fellow man, and both are taking exponentially more risk and putting themselves in much more danger than police, and yet, I don't see you putting your hand on your heart for them, I don't see you holding parades for them in the street and praising them for their service!

Also, I don't see them demanding the right to kill anyone or anything they want because they feel "scared!" Nor do I see them demanding everyone "respect" them and praise them for their "service" at every opportunity, nor do I see them giving themselves an endless stream of "awards" for merely doing the job they're supposed to do!

9773 All jobs are dangerous yes, living is dangerous you never know what might happen the morning you wake up,I will not deny that. However it is no comparison we are to do what we are to do.

24103 Ok some of these comments look like they are coming out of the mouths of babies (they way you are talking) I don't understand how you feel officers don't earn their money. They take a lot of bs from some citizens. I beat bs you wouldn't take. Plus their pay is crappy to for protecting some of you ungrateful people.. I think it is funny what the young girl did. She didn't do it out of hate or anything else. And the officer laughed it off, it was kind of him to do something as kind as that. Never one that young girl didn't have the legal right to weight a ticket. I would have laughed it off too (if I was a cop) I do hope that the officer did explain to the young girl why he does have the right to park there.

108228 Reading numerous message boards and driving has made me realize how many DuMB and IGNORANT people there are in the world today. I'm pretty sure he paid for the GC w his own money. Not your parents tax $, read the article u morons the person writing it is obvi biased against cops. Your parents tax $ for a gift card, ppsshh get the hell outta here u dumbass. Also, it is "Retarded", moron. Another dumbass. And in my opinion, as long as they're not just abusing it, cops can park wherever te fuck they want! Pay dat man! Pay dat man his money's!

"My magical badge gives me the right to break any law I want, including the ones I enforce on you plebes, understand little girl?"

Posted: Mar 25 2014, 10:32 AM

I would have been perfectly "satisfied" if he actually addressed the fact he was parked illegally during a non-emergency merely out of convenience, that that was completely ignored is the story.

Posted: Mar 25 2014, 12:33 PM

98231 Get a real job you scum cops, I'd call you fat pigs but that's insulting to pigs, who are actually very intelligent creatures. A cop spending "his own money" LOL that's rich

6691 Police officers should lead by example. Hint: Following the law themselves.

68100 1. This cop is not paid by the housing community but appears to be there servicing the apartment complex. At least he didn't park in a private space used by residents.
2. The 'girl' that wrote the ticket doesn't see the cop as "different" from anyone else and thought it was a violation to BLOCK the fire lane, not knowing law enforcement serves a similar cause.
3. She's a child and wasn't concerned with evaluating the situation of why the Officer parked there but that it was illegal.
4. She was protecting her NEW community honestly.
5. The cop respected to her attempt to follow the law; rewarded her in his own way to let her know she did the right thing. Hopefully she will always be on the side of JUSTICE.
