"You Can Keep Your Doctor. Oh, And We're Not Listening To Your Phone Calls."

Maybe they aren’t. But the NSA is storing them — all of them, every word. In monthly cycles, i.e., recordings of new calls replace those  that are 30 days old.*

The NSA claims to be universally eavesdropping on only one “foreign” country, but remember that 1) the NSA lies as serially and completely as the TSA, which is to say every statement it makes is false; 2) the NSA constantly “re-defines” terms so as to allege, for instance, that it isn’t “spying” when it collects our metadata, it is only “gathering” information. Besides, isn’t “fly-over country” foreign to the sewer-rats in DC?

So be aware that if the USSA isn’t the “foreign” country from which the NSA is recording every single telephonic conversation, it will be soon. No tyrant ever practices atrocities against foreigners that he doesn’t plan to unleash on his own taxpayers. Just ask those Germans alive in 1945, when Hitler turned the horrors visited on “enemies” of the Reich against his own people during the Nazis’ desperate finale.

Abolish the NSA. Totally. Forever. Only abolition is consistent with freedom, civilization, and common decency.

*You know Obummer’s in trouble when even the WaPo, the administration’s house-organ, admits that he lies: “Ubiquitous voice surveillance … may … be seen as inconsistent with Obama's Jan. 17 pledge ‘that the United States is not spying on ordinary people who don't threaten our national security … and that we take their privacy concerns into account.’"
