Cops Shoot Woman's Dog Serving Warrant, Wrong House

Chris | InformationLiberation

Kentucky police shot a random woman's dog while serving a warrant to someone who "no longer lives at her house."

From WYMT:
JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - An Eastern Kentucky woman is outraged after she allegedly watched a Kentucky State Police trooper shoot her dog right in front of her.

But was the trooper defending himself or being careless?

A blood stain outside of Becky Pelfrey’s home in West Van Lear is a reminder of what she watch unfold early Monday morning.

“It was pop, pop, pop, pop, pop. Just five shots right in a row,” Pelfrey said.

She says she woke up to a Kentucky State Police trooper and a Johnson County Sheriff’s deputy knocking on her door at 1:30 in the morning to serve a warrant for someone that no longer lives at her house.
The cop said the dog was "charging" at him. The dog survived but could lose a leg.

50101 These fucking cops need to be stopped, what the fuck are they doing trying to serve a warrant at 1:30 am anyhow without absolutely knowing that the person they're looking for is at this address? This lady needs to file a lawsuit, and as I have always said, we as citizens need to change laws, Why should we as taxpayers be liable for monetary damages when these police everyday in North America abuse there power as a law inforcement officer? The reason why I say we are not reponsible is because being a total retard with a gun abusing there power IS NOT IN THERE JOB DESCRIBTION! We do not want need or condone this action. The cops themselves should be liable, they should either carry liability insurance of there own paid for out there own pocket or just sue them for all they are worth and will be worth.Just look at he Biliions of dollars over the years the tax payers have had to pay to either pay lawsuits or pay to shut people up about corruption, The time or change is now. WAKE UP PEOPLE!
