Georgia police officers serving a warrant shot and killed 17-year-old Christopher Roupe when he answered his door "armed" with a Wii remote, which the officer allegedly mistook for a gun.

The police were serving a probation violation warrant for his father, Christopher was not involved.

A witness said the trigger happy female officer who shot him allegedly started sobbing and had a breakdown after realizing what she had done.

Nonetheless, she told the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Roupe pointed a gun at her when he opened the door.

The officers involved were placed on paid leave while the state investigates.
