Dallas to pay $1.15 million to mother of bicyclist struck, killed in chase with police

They hit him with their car, failed to call an ambulance, then engaged in a massive cover-up and claimed he was hit by someone else. - ChrisThe City Council is expected to vote next week to pay more than $1 million to the mother of a man run over and killed by a Dallas police officer.

Earlier this month the city settled a lawsuit filed in June by Virginia Bradford, whose son was struck and killed during a chase last spring in the Fair Park area, according to a council briefing agenda and federal court records.
