Cop Threatens To "Shoot" Open Carriers "In The Head"

Chris | InformationLiberation

In this video out of Neenah, Wisconsin a police officer explains to some open carriers that his paranoia justifies his shooting them in the head at the sight of any "furtive movement."

The police officer lectures the men endlessly about how they're hurting the second amendment and being irresponsible by carrying a weapon which could scare people, all while the officer himself is threatening them with execution.

The irony was apparently lost on the officer.

It always amazes me how cops can threaten to kill people over nothing while simultaneously acting like they're the good guys.

Here's the original description via YouTube:
All this from one non emergency call. this happened on commercial st in neenah wi. it is sad that between the neenah police chief and the LT they cant keep a story straight. lt told me there was several 911 calls. chief told me on the phone there was 1 non emergency call. then he beefed up his story for the new that there was several 911 calls.
Here's the one 911 call they say was received.

75145 I think, the response of the citizen to "we received complaints" should be "were there complains on my doing something illegal with the gun, such as carrying it in threatening manner or pointing at the people? if not, we have nothing to talk about, officer". And to "are you going to cooperate or not?" - "certainly not", and "no comment" to everything else including "what is your name" (unless this is required in this state).

The cop most likely wouldn't answer directly "no" to the question about the sort of complaint; he most likely would say "this is what I'm going to find out" or some other nonsense; that should be followed by total non-cooperation. Find out whatever you want, you are right here, do you see any evidence of a crime?

Also, the conversation should end immediately with the threat to shoot in the head: "so you are threatening me to shoot in the head? I'm not talking to you, please bring here your supervisor".

81161 This is one of the wonderful things about living in a country where only
hunters, felons and pigs carry : There is no 'grey-zone' .

68255 This incident actually gives an important lesson that I think did not come to light before: when the cop says "we received complaints", it's the same lie as everything else, and should be confronted.

"What was the complaint about, specifically?" I doubt the cop will have the nerve to state anything that would be an actual crime; in this case, that the "suspect" actually was pointing the gun at others.

"Did you already talk to the complainant? don't you think it makes sense to start your investigation with talking to her?"

'Do you own observations confirm the complaint? if not, then your investigation is over. If you truly investigate carrying the gun in offensive manner (rather than fishing for an outstanding warrant just in case), knowing my name won't change the fact that nobody saw anything like that.

20880 Cops can lie to you with out recourse, you lie to a cop and you get arrested. I remember when cops motto to protect and serve was on there cars. They should now paint the Motto to Aim and Shoot on there cars to warn us.Cops are lazy now they do not investigate now they just think they are right and just shoot and ask questions later oops sorry i blew you're brain out you looked guilty.

68255 > you lie to a cop and you get arrested

So don't lie. "No comment" really should be your only reply to anything they say.
Keep your heads up

7498 The behavior of cops these days will one day pit them against the people. If that is their destiny, then so be it.

7475 It's not illegal. Just don't do it. If you do it, and it's within your rights, you are wrong to do it. If you do it anyway then none of us will have the right to do it. What kind of logical mind comes up with this nonsense?

7622 I would have told the pig that I have just as much right to carry a weapon as does he and that if HE makes a furtive move that I will shoot him in the head. I am a quick draw BTW. I also would not have stopped walking so easily.

Based upon the pig's poor English skills, I have to ask myself if the city has any educational requirements for its officers. Obviously complete ignorance of the US constitution is a requirement. I hope the two victims sue the living hell out of that 5hithole of a city and every property owner sees a 30% spike in their property taxes to pay for the judgment.

7622 The cops don't care a bit if taxpayer funds are wasted by their unthinking actions. In fact the offending cop will be getting paid time off himself pending the outcome of the investigation.

17256 Great job officer. Need more level headed men who are willing to speak to the public like they are people. Not enemy combatints. All the people bitching about this video are foolish. This man is serving his community and i bet would never try to disarm his american brothers. God bless the good guys.

15852 This cop is not only a fool, but he is breaking the law by harassing this individual who is obeying the law. His logic is seriously flawed. "You have the legal right to open carry....But you shouldn't open carry because it may offend or frighten some people." Then what good is the law?

Let me phrase this in another way. If the law in question was an anti-discrimination law that allowed green people to show their faces in town during the day, and the cop detains a green guy in this manor, basically saying that just because the law says you can be here being green, I don't agree with it, so let me hold you here and question you, lecture you, all while a gun is readied near you. That would be complete harassment and intimidation.

That is what is actually happening here! The law that is being broken is by the officer, not the guy with the rifle. Yet who is detained? Who is threatened with death? Who is held captive while being forced to listen to this idiots ideals?

This officer should be fired immediately. It is morons like this that have ruined this nation.

14726 He should have said anything.
