Cops Mercilessly Beat Non-Resisting Man, Maul Him With K-9, Charge Him With Assault

Chris | InformationLiberation

In this shocking video out of Atlantic City, police are seen mercilessly beating a young man, then mauling him with a police K-9, all while he shows no resistance and was reportedly screaming "I'm not resisting!"

David Connor Castellani, 20, was kicked out of a casino earlier for being a year too young, and incidentally he got into a verbal argument with the officers outside on the street. After he expressed some choice words, five officers are seen running to Castellani from across the street and begin to brutally beat him, hitting him repeatedly with batons and kneeing him from multiple angles. If that beating wasn't bad enough, a sixth K-9 officer shows up and without any serious assessment of the situation, immediately releases a rabid dog onto Castellani. The K-9 is seen viciously chomping into Castellani's neck and the back of his head. Castellani's mother said her son's back and head "looked like Hamburger Helper” and he required over 200 stitches to close his wounds, additionally he was left with permanent nerve damage and muscle paralysis.

To add insult to injury, the police then charged Castellani with aggravated assault.

Sterling Wheaten, the officer who released the rabid dog on Castellani, "has been sued three times in the last three years for abusing citizens and has been investigated by internal affairs more than a dozen times in two years for excessive force," Carlos Miller notes.

Atlanta police chief Ernest Jubiliee viewed the video of the incident and said he “saw no reason to suspend or remove officers from their regular duties.”

Fortunately, the incident was caught on video. Castellani family is trying to get the charges against their son dropped, and they're filing suit against the officers. The police meanwhile are stonewalling while they investigate themselves.

This was really very shocking and it's beyond the limit of brutality. Those officers should be punished so that next time these fuc**** sons of @#$!@ think twice before doing anything like this.....
May David recover from this traumatic incident with god's speed.
God Bless Him.

17444 Cops in New Jersey are degenerate low-lives. New Jersey is such a communistic state where the average citizen legally can't defend himself against a gang of degenerates like these. Until Americans are willing to die for freedom and defeat the Satanic police state then the criminals who operate with badges will continue being sadistic.

7521 While watching the first half of the video, before the cops attack him, it definitely looks like some beating was exactly what the guy was looking for. He walks up to the cops and talks, and they don't react; then he moves away and continues to talk and gesture across the street, then seemingly starts to move away, but comes back again with more words. Once or twice the camera shows the cops, and at that point they still show no reaction at all, despite all the effort from David. But then they suddenly attack him. So I wonder what was the breaking moment and why they so suddenly moved from totally ignoring him to attacking him as viciously as they did. I'm not saying that what yyhe cops did was right, not at all, but looking at the guy, it's hard not to think that David put his best effort into provoking the cops, and he wouldn't stop until he was attacked.

7521 ...another strange fact is that the videographer is obviously following David well before he was attacked, before he even started talking to the cops, starting from when there was seemingly nothing of interest. Why?

@7521.... Are u suggesting the video was staged? The mouthpiece clearly stated that this assault was caught by a "casino camera." The media guaranteed this to be a "full footage" video...

"Police vs citizen" was the giveaway for me.

18440 David Castellani might have said some thing he wishes he didn't say but I do believe that we have a right to say whatever we feel like saying as long as it wasn't life threatening to the officers. I don't think the police had a right to take him down in the first place and I would almost guarantee that the cops were using profanity as they bet David. When the K-9 officer (using the word officer lightly) show up and released the dog on a person who they had on his stomach was 100% wrong. There wasn't any need in the dog being used. People who say he looked like he wanted an ass beating remember you have family who this could happen to. Innocent people get beat, shot and killed everyday. It might be because of a wrong address on a warrant, someone who hates you call in a tip to the police about your house being used for drugs. From what I am seeing on the news and youtube cops are going wild and it might have been like this for a long time but now cameras are everywhere.
