A top Syrian official is calling on the Obama administration to "produce the evidence" that the regime of President Bashar Assad used chemical weapons against its own people. According to CBS News, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said during a news conference in Damascus Tuesday that the case to launch an attack against Syria is "weak and inaccurate" because evidence does not show which side was responsible for the Aug. 21 chemical attack that activists say killed up to 1,300 people.
