Father of 3 sells pain meds to a "friend" who claims to also be suffering from pain. "Friend" turns out to be a police informant. Father of 3, also a first time offender, gets 25 years.

Three years ago he was befriended by a man called Matt (not his real name).

"We kind of clicked right off the bat. One day he came to where I worked. We were standing there talking, and I realised he was in pain," says Horner.

"He laid it out on me, 'Look dude, I can either pay my rent or go buy my prescriptions. I can't do both.' I decided Matt was a friend. I said, 'I'll help you out.'"

What Horner didn't know was that Matt was an informant working for the Osceola County Sheriff's Office in central Florida.

Too many scumbags on the planet.
How could anyone do this to a father of 3 who
was trying to help someone out that was in pain?

WTF is wrong with the judge and these asshole cops.

Its the snitch that belongs in jail for setting up
an innocent person. The harm was intended.

66220 This is a common story. California is even worse giving people life without parole for minor crimes using three strikes and your out. My friend and great employee has been doing life since 1995 for over an ounce of weed. Most honest person you could know and didn't deserve that. These are really sad stories considering that rape and murder and you can be out in only seven years.
