Saskatoon police officer charged with assault after 14-yr-old allegedly pepper sprayed A Saskatoon police officer is charged with using excessive force while arresting a 14-year-old boy.
Const. Luke St. Onge, 26, faces charges of assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon in connection with an incident in May.
"When (the boy) was arrested, it's alleged that a little extra force was used, that the young person had been allegedly punched in the face and pepper sprayed by the officer that's been charged," Saskatoon police Chief Clive Weighill said Thursday.
