According to Treasury Department figures, the National Debt on September 30, 2012 was $16,066,241,407,385.89 and on September 30, 2011 it was $14,790,340,328,557.15, indicating an increase in the National Debt of $1,275,901,078,828.74 - or $4,055.98 for every man, woman and child in America.
