The City has agreed to settle the biggest of the 14 lawsuits linked to a disgraced former police chief, the Record reported Tuesday.

Alessandra Viola—the ex-girlfriend of Frank Zisa Jr., former deputy police chief and brother to former chief Ken Zisa—will receive $2.48 million.

Viola's suit said Ken Zisa filed criminal and internal disciplinary charges against her when she refused sexual advances from him and his brother after she ended her relationship with Frank Zisa Jr. The charges were dismissed, but the City suspended her for 75 days without pay in February 2011.
