Texas judge warns of possible 'civil war' if President Obama is re-elected


From Lubbock's Fox 34 News:
"He's going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the United States to the U.N., and what is going to happen when that happens?," Head asked.

"I'm thinking the worst. Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe. And we're not just talking a few riots here and demonstrations, we're talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms and get rid of the guy.

"Now what's going to happen if we do that, if the public decides to do that? He's going to send in U.N. troops. I don't want 'em in Lubbock County. OK. So I'm going to stand in front of their armored personnel carrier and say 'you're not coming in here'.

"And the sheriff, I've already asked him, I said 'you gonna back me' he said, 'yeah, I'll back you'. Well, I don't want a bunch of rookies back there. I want trained, equipped, seasoned veteran officers to back me."

7228 @ Peter^ Have to agree to a point about the paranoia here in the States, but if you look at all the websites putting conspiracy theories out there and our governments' own propaganda machine in action, it's difficult at best to decide what to believe. That being said (or written in this case) , Our police and military have taken an oath to uphold our Constitution. Many will not go against their own countrymen. Many just might. One thing I am sure of is that our rights and liberties are being taken away at an incredible rate and the banks have screwed half the world with their schemes. How much further are the people going to be pushed?

"I guess this is what happens when you get all your information from Fox News," Hinojosa continued. "This would be truly funny if it were a skit on SNL. The fact that these were serious utterances by a supposedly responsible elected official make the entire episode horribly sad, but unfortunately, not even slightly unusual in today's Republican Party."

166147 The thing I don't get is if there are X number of conservatives and Y number of liberals, that feel strongly enough to go to war if Obama is elected a second time; well, then wouldn't the same be true if Romney was elected? I mean it should be war either way right?
