Video: Cop Stands With Feet In Path Of Ferrari 458 Spider, Allegedly Gets Foot Run Over, Goes Crazy

Chris | InformationLiberation

UPDATE: All charges were dropped against the Ferrari driver. No evidence existed proving the cop got his foot run over; in other words, it was all a fabrication by a psycho with a badge. Despite their lies crumbling, the cop was not charged for fabricating evidence, false arrest, nor for illegally damaging the man's car. The cop in question, named Felix Recio, was also later arrested for committing a DUI. Additionally, he tried to cash in by suing the Ferrari driver in civil court for $10 million, that too went nowhere. - Chris
A New York cop who was inexplicably writing a ticket to a man for having his Ferrari temporarily "parked" in a hotel's valet zone (with the hotel's full permission) chose to aggressively stand with his feet in front of the man's car as he wrote him a ticket. When the man inched forward with his car, rather than move out of the way, the cop chose to move his body to the side, but position his feet directly in the path of the Ferrari's wheels. When the man tapped the gas again to leave in protest of what he felt was an unjust ticket, the cop again chose to stay positioned right next to the vehicle, and he allegedly got one of his feet run over. It's not clear in the video if the cop actually got his foot run over, the car did not appear to be moving at the time, and his foot was clearly not trapped under the wheel. Regardless, the cop claimed he ran over his foot and then chose to try and smash the man's driver side window, yelled curses at him repeatedly, flung the Ferarri's door open into a random adjacent taxi, then grabbed the man and violently pulled him out of his car, then shoved him and challenged him saying, "You want to assault a f**ing officer?!" A second cop arrived and the two took the man down to the ground, where the man laid for some time before being hauled away in a police cruiser.

Here's the description from the uploader on YouTube:

I was walking around Soho, NYC today when I stumbled upon this Ferrari 458 Spider with a cop writing a ticket next to it. I started to record the situation because I thought it'd make a cool video, little did I know what I was in for. As soon as I started recording the owner of the car appeared and got in it. He slowly started moving since he refused to accept the ticket (the car was parked in a hotels valet zone and the hotel valet had the keys, I myself don't understand why the cop was giving him the ticket, it was approved by the hotel that the car was parked there.) The cop then told him to stop but he proceeded to move forward. Now at this point I believe the cops foot was under the front drivers side tire. Yet again the owner moved the car forward and apparently he somewhat ran over the cops foot (or at least that's what can be made out from everything in the video, others at the scene claimed otherwise.) This triggered the cop and he slammed his hand into the drivers window and proceed to open the door (notice how many times he bumped it into the taxi cab) and pull the driver out forcefully. The driver was then thrown on the ground and handcuffed and arrested. The owners girlfriend seen in the video is also Stephanie Pratt from the MTV hit show, The Hills. The car did suffer some damage, paint chips on the door from when the cop slammed it into the cab and some scuffs by the engine bay shown in the last scene of this video. Pretty crazy situation, I was definitely at the right place at the right time!

24184 This is how law enforcement in NY is administrated,byHS graduates who have the mentality of a teenager and US The Blue Wall against any citizen that can't pull that PBA get out of jail ,I can get away with breaking the law ,Card out of your pocket
The Police have no respect for the citizens and they must justify their overcompensated pensions by creating a police state and imposing a Tax over the constituents who already pay their salaries and pensions....It's worse on Long Island with these pension padding thieves
The politicians, law enforcement, insurance carriers are laughing all the way to the bank...they all need to be dealt with as they are ruining this once great country...

6674 The Cop had every right to expect that the driver wouldn't move the car with a PEDESTRIAN (cop or ANYBODY else) standing so close to the front of the car.
Don't even try to defend this idiot's actions. He deserves what he got. Who does such a stupid thing and thinks it's somehow acceptable behavior. A couple of nights at Riker's Island will teach this MORON a lesson that he won't forget.

24188 this article is completely stupid! in a free and just society you dont run over a mans foot just because hes writing on a piece of paper. the driver is wrong on many levels but more importantly the forum for protest and change is court not at the scene of where the officer is writing you a ticket. videos like this dilute the actual individuals who truly would like to combat injustice. the prick in the car was not displaying civil disobedience, rather behaving as a spoiled child

71203 the cop should be charged and made an example of.

all you stupid brainwashed Americans who know you'll never be able to afford anything without a loan that you'll also never pay off and possibly reneg on, like all your other fellow Americans with "short sales' and 'forceclosures'... should stop being jealous that you'll never be able to afford such a car or anything of luxury value... and i bet you won't even take pictures or acknowledge anything that you can't ever afford...

just stick up for your stupid cops with no brains and anyone else of authority, like you were taught in school and through the media and you'll never get anywhere. you'll see, one day you'll be surprised when you or someone you love is treated like that by some stupid cop and you won't even know what happened.

SO F...KING STUPID !!!! get a job !!!

*(the poor kid had to get humiliated like that and stay on the ground like a dog while the stupid cops tried to justify their actions of ignorance misuse of undeserved power...he was in a valet area.... you know.. the area you and that stupid cop will never be in without ignorantly pushing your way in while you remain brainwashed by your authorities... LOL to you)

I'll quote a previous user who said it perfectly: "" A New York cop who was inexplicably writing a ticket to a man for having his Ferrari temporarily "parked" in a hotel's valet zone (with the hotel's full permission) chose to aggressively stand with his feet in front of the man's car as he wrote him a ticket. 71203 I agree with you , 71203!!!

you sound so angry at all this, that your ability to express yourself seems impeded.
I agree with all that you stated and I imagine the scenario if that driver was driving a Honda Civic. The facts wouldn't change, but the discussions and jealousy would be altered.

For the record, that officer was subsequently cited for abuse and disrespect of his granted authority, fined $2,000 and given a 3 month suspension without pay.

IT'S ABOUT TIME !!!

69246 First Let me start off by saying this: I AM NOT A FAN OF THE COPS/POLICE!!! Ive had issues with the cops on both sides - against me and me not doing what is right. On both of these occasions the police reports from the officers that were present were NOT accurate. They either exaggerated the situation or they just added stuff that didnt even happen and disregarded some of what the witness comments/answers to their questioning said happened. So do I trust the cops? No not really. With that said though... the guy in the Ferrari was in the wrong right from the beginning as was the cop. If two ignorant people were ever meant to meet out in the world its these two. There was no sticker in the windshield telling the cop that parking was permitted as there was suppose to be (It was reported that it should of been there since he WAS permitted). HE (the driver)is the one who came at the situation ALL WRONG in the beginning... THEN... the cop followed suit immediately and BOTH OF THEM SHOWED THEIR STUPIDITY right there in a NYC street with MANY witnesses obviously videoing it. The rich, spoiled by his wealth...to me at least and some others...guy acted as though he was above reproach and ignored the officer standing there with a citation book in his hand in the middle of writing a ticket. All he had to do was talk to the cop and explain that he had permission and show him the sticker and all would have been avoided. But instead he wanted to show the civil servant who was WHO! He got into his car and proceeded to try to leave the "scene" (which would actually be considered fleeing and eluding) and in the process he supposedly ran the cops foot over. In the video this is hard to determine whether or not it really happened but if you notice there is a point where the cop jerks his foot like hes trying to pull it out from the tire. Whether it is actual I dont know I cant tell for sure. But his behavior was disgraceful. Then there is the cops actions. Yes, he put himself in front of the vehicle. HE put HIMSELF there it wasnt a pedestrian as some have said "WELL IT COULD HAVE BEEN A PEDESTRIAN OR A ANYONE OR ANYTHING" but it wasnt it was a cop and that is who stopped him from going no one else. What he really did was place his foot not feet IN FRONT of that tire (lol like that would stop the car haha joke on him). In my opinion he did that PURPOSELY because of the make of the car and the guys attitude of superiority. Possibly thinking he could/would make some money off of him if injured ~ I mean notice the limp. Then the driver proceeded slowly to inch forward trying to leave and "ran his foot over" so the cop showed HIS STUPIDITY by punching the window repeatedly because the guy wouldnt listen nor would he stop moving the car. Then he FURTHER showed his stupidity by ripping the car door open and repeatedly slamming it against the cab then tearing him out of the car. His foul mouth although WAS NOT NECESSARY. I know that is the first reaction when injured especially when it happens by a fool behaving like a child with a big shiny toy... but being an officer of the law then he should learn how to speak under duress. So in this case BOTH idiots were IN THE WRONG. But honestly the people who were ACTUALLY WRONGED THAT DAY? The citizens/tourists of NYC. Theyre the ones who had to (or chose to) listen to/hear all of that foul language and witness STUPIDITY IN ITS HIGHEST OF FORMS. A rich "kid" and a cop showing their asses.

3151 The cop created a lawsuit for 10 million and later lost, it's obvious he put his foot slightly under the wheel because he knew the owner was rich. It was a scam. Hooray for video cameras.
