Government: we can freeze Megaupload's assets even if case is dismissed

Judge is weighing argument that Megaupload is beyond reach of US criminal law.

The United States government said today that even if the indictment of the Megaupload corporation is dismissed, it can continue its indefinite freeze on the corporation's assets while it awaits the extradition of founder Kim Dotcom and his associates.

27252 Ha Ha! First you called him a thief. Then you compared him to a drug runner. Then you cited case law about FARK Rebels. Now, you say you will just keep his money if you lose. He nor his lawyers are fooled by that tactic. You Yanks certainly are entertaining, if nothing else, but, this is what it's all about, entertainment.
