Do I Want Poor People To Die?

Chris | InformationLiberation

Some people are going insane because they think I said welfare should be banned because people may use the money to murder people. Let's look at what I actually said:
All over TV they're saying we need to ban guns as they enabled his attack, but where are the calls to ban welfare which enabled him to buy his guns?
I was pointing out the hypocrisy of advocating guns be banned because they "enabled" his attack, while ignoring that fact taxpayer money forcibly redistributed to the shooter enabled him to buy the guns. I was not calling for welfare to be banned, I was pointing out hypocrisy. There is a difference.

That said, I am against "welfare" (which should more accurately be called "slave management to prevent revolt") because it's a criminal act to steal from someone and give it to someone else (after "administrative fees," of course), no matter how "just" your cause. I'm against welfare not because I want poor people to die, but because I think stealing is wrong, even if it's "voted" on by a democratic mob.

I believe the poor would be helped better through having freedom and free markets, rather than simply stealing everything the "rich" and middle class have as part of a "great leap forward." They tried that in communist China, it ended with 50,000,000 people dead. If you forcibly stole everything from everyone and redistributed it evenly to everyone, according to my own calculation, each person would only have some $8,000 total in assets. In such a situation, no one would have any wealth, and there would be nothing to buy, because no one would have the capital to mass produce goods at low cost, everyone would be forced to "fend for themselves" and live off scraps. Does that sound like utopia to you? It doesn't to me.

I want everyone to be rich, forced wealth redistribution could be described as a scam to ensure the rich don't have to face competition from the poor, poor people are bought off and given handouts so they'll become dependent slaves rather than self-empowered independent individuals who guide the course of their own lives (and challenge the status quo). I want people to be allowed to create their own world and not be robbed of everything they own by the state. Even poor people pay 40% on average in taxes. Why can't everyone be allowed to have more, rather than only some people get more by stealing it from someone who gets less? Enshrining crime into the law doesn't produce a "fair" society, it produces a society where some people are rulers and everyone else is slaves.

193200 heres what you said..

"Why Does No One Care The Government Financed The Dark Knight Shooter's Attacks? "

you really needed to write a whole article to back up your lies? you couldnt just make your point in the thread?

what a princess.. i wasnt calling for guns to be banned.. i was saying its stupid to allow psychos access to fully automatic rifles, but thats not calling for a ban.

do you drive a car? do you like driving on roads, you ever visited a library? computers your using now, the electricity.. probably a lot of the food you eat..

id suggest public money has made contributions to all that.

why dont you go to somalia.. implement your utopia over there..
the fact is you were trying to link your view of an utopian free market society - and how evil the government is - to this mass murder.. its transparent - its stupid - and you were somehow suggesting that the only way this was able to occur was because the shooter was on welfare..

wheres the outrage! why does noone care!!???

well noone cares dipshit because theres a few things that are more important that you continually rantanting about how bad the government is..

and thats all.. you just continually bitch that its not your utopia..
well just bitching about bullshit like why does noone care he was on welfare.. the government literally bought his guns..

go to somalia.. if its that bad here, go! otherwise.. youre simply being a hypocrite

193200 i should probably type slower and read through stuff before hitting enter.. some of that turned into gobbledygook..

the essence :

im all for a workable utopia but simply cutting welfare checks in this society wont do it.

by all means, write an article about how to get there from here.. ( im sure others more qualified have already done that )

but enough of the crap where you try to link a mass murder to the evils of taxation and welfare.. its just stupid. - and theres nothing hypocritical about pointing that out.

some people are going insane - lol .. whatever..

"All over TV they're saying we need to ban guns as they enabled his attack, but where are the calls to ban welfare which enabled him to buy his guns?"

why didnt you just say then

"All over TV they're saying we need to ban guns as they enabled his attack, but where are the calls to ban food which enabled him to buy his guns?"

that would have been equally as sensible.. without food.. hed have starved to death long ago...

but the point is.. it wasnt just food that enabled this.. and it wasnt just welfare.. if he had no money as was a determined killer, he may have been able to steal guns..

you tried to link this to welfare.. its a stupid argument..

there is no hypocrisy to point out at all.. because i think the point the people who are calling for guns to be banned is this..

he could have done it without welfare, but he couldnt have done it without a gun.

65110 And people must submit to government screening tests because...?

50104 ...or maybe if he wasn't on welfare he would have had a productive job and would then have been too busy to worry about mass murder or had been TOO FAR FROM A GUN FREE ZONE TO COMMIT MASS MURDER!!!

Say what? Yeah, uh, you know that 99.9% of all mass shootings (mass shooting = 3 or more die) in the USA occur IN GUN FREE ZONES. Yes, thats right, Walmart shoppers: GUN BANS KILL.

...well, not really. But, the are a magnet to this type of behavior. Why didn't James Holmes come to a theatre in my state and try that? I'll tell you why: because on of my fellow citizens would have dropped him like a sack of feed off the back of a pickup truck!

So, all you gun banners our there you will be pleased to know that you're less safe and more prone to getting shot up in a state or city where guns are banned. Just look at the two cities that have the stictests gun control: Chicago and New York. Guess which two cities in the USA also have THE MOST GUN VIOLENCE? Bingo! Facts don't lie but anti-gun politicians do!

71118 What about his $26,000.00 grant provided by the Univ of Colorado? He was among 6 elite neuroscience students chosen to recieve the award.

Among the "conspiracy" pages thus far, not one mention of Scopolamine or "Devils breath". I wonder if the police tested him (the joker) for narcotics. This implies that he may have been drugged and influenced by third parties.

71118 Chris, I think the royal libertarianism and pehaps anarcho-capitalism (sounds cool) you've been absorbing is wearing thin. Ron Paul and Mises and the like promote an end game to neo-feudalism by means of a gold standard. The gold standard will hurt the working man, especially since we have seen an unprecedented transfer of weath in the last century. You will find the answers for the systemic injustice being perpetrated on humanity in classical libertarianism or Georgism. Check out for some info on the subject and get focused back on your work, stop arguing with internet trolls about welfare. The biggest welfare abusers are corporations, charity is a mask for systemic injustice.

7136 yes, get Corporations off Welfare checks.

common Welfare recipients are invisible to everyone but those whom have had that money taken in the form of socialism.
they dont work
they dont pay taxes
they dont vote
they cant afford to buy your products that you make, unless you are part of SNAP program.

they really really suck. they are basicly DEAD.
so if anyone gets upset about that--they obviously know its true.

Other wise, why would they be mad?

And last I checked--it was a free internet. OP can say anything he/she wants- YOU DONT HAVE TO LIKE IT!

71118 oops did I say Georgism...Geoism. Stupid troll.

13519 "I want everyone to be rich," - if everyone were rich, no one work and the economy would collapse. The economic engine that drives the US is predicated on financial stratification.

504 Who cares. None of this means anything. All a huge waste of what we call time. Written to evoke emotion and responses. So predictable it is pathetic. I should have jammed a dull knife in my skull rather than post a comment.
