Why Does No One Care The Government Financed The Dark Knight Shooter's Attacks?

Chris | InformationLiberation

It came out days ago, yet it got very little coverage. The Dark Knight shooter, James Holmes was collecting unemployment checks.

It hasn't been reported for how long he was collecting the checks, but it was reported he was looking for work for two years, over that time he could have collected unemployment not just for 6 months, but for a total of 18 months thanks to Obama and congress extending unemployment benefits for another 12 months. Depending how much he was receiving, if he got a conservative $400 a week, or $1,733 a month, the government would have given him a war chest of $20,800. That would explain how a broke college student may have had the money to amass potentially $10,000-$20,000 worth of guns, ammunition, armor, and bombs. The government may have literally financed his act of terrorism.

Where is the outrage? All over TV they're saying we need to ban guns as they enabled his attack, but where are the calls to ban welfare which enabled him to buy his guns?

This is someone who truly did not "get there on his own," he was paid by the government for not working, and the money he received went towards financing his mass murder. Maybe if he actually had to work for his money he wouldn't have spent it all on killing people.

I am the one outraged by it, you're the one who says the government's killing machine is an "essential service."

68195 Endless welfare, yet another violation of our rights. The gov’t constantly violates our rights.
They violate the 1st Amendment by caging protesters and banning books.
They violate the 4th and 5th Amendment by allowing TSA to grope you.
They violate the entire Constitution by starting undeclared wars.
Impeach Obama, support Ron Paul.

They heve to tell you what they are doing before they do it.

24226 Your argument is so stupid and lacking in logic that it doesn't deserve a reasoned response.
All it deserves is derision.

7180 Still does not explain how he got the equipment. Seriously your lucky if unemployment pays the rent, let alone groceries, power, vehicle, insurance. Your article has not explained a thing.

683 Are you making the assumption that he received $20,800 in unemployment and spent every last penny on his arsenal?

How would he or anyone else survive spending no money on the basic essentials of day to day living like FOOD, TRANSPORTATION, HOUSING, etc.?

If it is barely possible to survive on $20,800/year just for the necessities of life, the real question we should be asking is...

WHO REALLY PAID FOR HIS $20,000 ARSENAL?!?

70180 Holmes still could not have afforded all his acquired ordnance with what income he had. He still had to eat, pay for school, buy gas, etc. Therefore,he had to have been furnished and on the cusp of Obama signing the U.N./Hillary Gun Treaty. Anyone smell Fast n' Furious II ?? The DOJ/ATF has all the stuff needed from it's vault of mayhem via Eric Holder.

75144 I work and live of $21,000 a year and can save 500 a month.
It is very easy to buy an arsenal on that income. If i didn't work and still made that much money. I would have the time to as well.

681 sorry but this article is so wrong most of tyhat money would of been spent on food and living expences but the real question is what kind of explosives he had , detonaters and ect being all of that is watched by the federal government and who's license's did he use to get them. $20,000
worth of explosives sounds pretty high tech for being set in a room with the high tech detonator to go with it for a colledge student . i have to wonder if the the media is not reporting the truth and this is a muslim atack on our freedom or if government actually supplied the bomb material for him. there is no way he could of lived on $20,800 a year and buy the explosives on the black market. black market prises would be even more.

9893 I agree with the very first post on here. People, you don't get rich from the government , I don't care what they are handing out. They line their pockets , not ours. This article is just guessing that this might have happened. Stick to facts, not guess work.

71235 Just another Fast-and-Furious scandal. The Obama administration fingerprints are probably all over this one too. Why don't we make an appointment with Eric Holder to ask him about it.

71235 20,000 is enough to buy those weapons. His parents were probably sending him money, he had a full scholarship, and might have had an under-the-table job.
