iPhone Feature Tracks Stolen Phone to Police Officer

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge police officer has been arrested and charged with felony theft and malfeasance in office after being accused of stealing an iPhone while on the job.

According to police, Officer Jake Chustz, 27, was assisting in a vehicle crash that resulted in a DWI arrest on June 2, 2012. When the person was released from jail after his DWI arrest, he was not able to find his phone which was left in his vehicle.

The victim of the theft used the "Find My iPhone" feature under his iCloud account and discovered that the cell phone name was changed to "Jake Chustz's iPhone."
