Chicago Bears Hall of Famer Turns Down Obama White House Invitation, "I'm Not A Fan"Chris | InformationLiberation

Rather than be used as a political tool for Schmobama, Football Hall of Famer Dan Hampton epically rejected the president's invitation to the White House scheduled for next month. The White House had to cancel the event they had planned as a result.
CHICAGO (WLS) - Former Chicago Bears defensive tackle Dan Hampton says he will not be joining his fellow teammates when they visit the White House next month.
Hampton, a member of the Bears 1985 Super Bowl championship team, made the comments on Chicago's Mully and Hanley radio show Monday.
"It's my personal choice," the four-time Pro Bowler said. "I don't choose to go."
Hampton said he was bothered that the invitation did not include players' wives and children and added, "Secondly, I’m not a fan of the guy in the White House, and third, it was 25 years ago. Let it go.” Full story here. Also be sure to check out this Yahoo writer whining about it.
