Charlie Veitch: A Rebuttal

This is a good video responding to Charlie Veitch's 'conversion' from truther to official fairy tale true believer. Apparently, he is taking part in some show for the BBC where he met a bunch of government 'experts' and they 'like totally' convinced him 9/11 happened exactly as the regime described! Now he rejects the 'religious dogma' that is questioning the government's bullsh*t! This guy is a weak minded idiot. On the bright side, this is a great rebuttal. - Chris, InfoLib - Analyzing Charlie Veitch's U-turn on 9/11 and rebutting some of his points.

752 Charlie Veitch is probably just an opportunist who used the 911 movement to get the attention of the mainstream, which he promptly joined once he had the chance.

151200 A very superficial activist (and/or researcher) sums this character the best.

94175 Possibly an opportunist, or superficial, or most probably brainwashed and used?

65116 People can change their minds. Attacking them because they happen to look at the evidence only lowers yourself even further.

How many times has anyone changed their mind about something? Alot, right! Ok, then what's the problem with Charlie changing his mind?

I highly doubt the majority of the rancor directed his way is a result of his "changing his mind," but instead a result of him accusing people who don't accept the governments official bullshit of being in a "cult" who can't take anyone questioning their "beliefs." Meanwhile, this character says all this one day, while days before his girlfriend was running some 9/11 truth event where Richard Gage was brought in to give a speech. Surely, you can see how that is rather incongruent?

Also, if you change your mind, and you're a person who changes their mind when presented with new evidence, you should be used to getting slack for it and not act like you're some victim and everyone is out to get you.

I used to have a lot more socialist beliefs, I thought corporations were out to exploit everyone and advertising was brainwashing, I changed my mind completely upon learning Austrian Economics ( ) and changed the entire tenor of this site to espousing a free-market anarcho-capitalist austro-libertarian philosophy and outlook. I took slack for it and I'm sure we lost some readers for it. Well, c'est la vie, that's life.

I didn't say people who disagreed with me were part of some cult, I just explained why I changed my beliefs and how what I believed before was wrong, case closed. Charlie just bullsh*ts about how he changed his mind because some experts told him the government's obvious lies are all actually true, he doesn't actually cite any evidence, nor debunk anything, he just throws around hyperbole about everyone who disagrees is in some cult and he's just some poor victim. There is nothing "high minded" about that.

72223 Kay Adams: Michael, you never told me you knew Johnny Fontane!
Michael: Sure, you want to meet him?
Kay Adams: Well, yeah! Sure.
Michael: My father helped him with his career.
Kay Adams: How did he do that?
Michael: ...Let's listen to the song.
Kay Adams: [after listening to Johnny for a while] Tell me, Michael. Please.
Michael: Well, when Johnny was first starting out, he was signed to a personal services contract with this big-band leader. And as his career got better and better, he wanted to get out of it. But the band leader wouldn't let him. Now, Johnny is my father's godson. So my father went to see this bandleader and offered him $10,000 to let Johnny go, but the bandleader said no. So the next day, my father went back, only this time with Luca Brasi. Within an hour, he had a signed release for a certified check of $1000.
Kay Adams: How did he do that?

Michael: My father made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
Kay Adams: What was that?
Michael: Luca Brasi held a gun to his head, and my father assured him that either his brains or his signature would be on the contract.
Kay Adams: ...
Michael: ...That's a true story.
