71169 His final point was right on. It's what I tell all of my statist friends. My ideal society doesn't preclude yours, but yours does mine and that is where I take issue.

66213 So let me get this straight: once society has transcended the need for currency, and instead of being subjected to monotonous labour to simply survive, we can have all of our necessities provided for us in addition to our wants in an extremely economical fashion, you will resent this for no logical reason an opt instead to work (which heads up doesn't exist anymore) a pointless job for money (which newsflash doesn't exist anymore) just because you possesss a stigma towards a "Marxist ideaology"?, which, newsflash: it is far from.

Yeah, you're a credible philosopher alright.

78105 You guys have been so busy ranting about how everyone else is crazy you've completely missed the point.

TZM is about principally two things:

1. The abolition of the existing monetary system.
As in, no illegal tender. As in, anything you feel like using as currency you can. As in, you can still earn whatever kind of tokens you want for whatever work people are happy to give you tokens for.

2. A hearty mechanisation of as much as possible.
As in, what we would be doing if we weren't wrapped in legal red tape and forbidden to borrow other peoples ideas and/or independently have an idea somebody else sort of had in the last 20 years.

So TZM asks that we have free banking and no intellectual property. You guys are generally okay with those ideas, correct?

But I understand where it comes undone. Physical property rights are something a lot of you are very conservative about. And I suppose that's fine too. TZM folk will just have to restrict their cataloguing to the land you guys give them permission to use. Oh wait a second... I think that's what we have already.
