Broke Towns Can't Afford to Drug Constituents with Fluoride

Chris | InformationLiberation

Who said the recession is all bad? On the bright side, it's forcing some towns to stop adding fluoride to their water supplies. A small town in Alabama has decided to stop fluoridating their water due to economic reasons, they say it will save them 50k a year.
"I guess we wound up saving about 50-thousand dollars a year in the production of our water, and we're a small system so 50-thousand dollars a year is a big savings," said Joe Beasley, Red Bay Water and Gas Department.
Apparently, they actually looked at the science, so perhaps they felt the recession was as good an excuse as ever to stop force drugging everyone.
"They had officials look at several studies and never found any evidence that supported keeping the fluoride in the water."
The Montgomery Advertiser reports 18 other water systems in Alabama have also put their forced drugging program on hold.
Goode said that unlike some states that mandate by legislation that public water systems add fluoride to their water, Alabama does not.

"Water systems may decide to discontinue fluoridating, which is a concern for the department and the communities."
Yes, what a terrible tragedy that the government doesn't mandate by law people's own tax money be used to forcibly drug their water supplies.
He told the members of the committee that the state might be "losing the battle on fluoridation."

Williamson said that the economy might be causing some systems to decide that it is too costly to maintain the equipment that provides the fluoride, or they have done away with the service all together.

"That's a problem," he said.
A problem for the state, yes. A problem for the people, no.

There is absolutely no evidence fluoride helps anyone, in fact, the opposite is true. To quote from an excellent exposé:
The history of forcing fluoride on humans through the fluoridation of drinking water is wrought with lies, greed and deception. Governments that add fluoride to drinking water supplies insist that it is safe, beneficial and necessary, however, scientific evidence shows that fluoride is not safe to ingest and areas that fluoridate their drinking water supplies have higher rates of cavities, cancer, dental fluorosis, osteoporosis and other health problems. Because of the push from the aluminum industry, pharmaceutical companies and weapons manufacturers, fluoride continues to be added to water supplies all over North America and due to recent legal actions against water companies that fluoridate drinking water supplies, precedent has been set that will make it impossible for suits to be filed against water suppliers that fluoridate. There is a growing resistance against adding toxic fluoride to our water supplies, but unfortunately, because fluoride has become "the lifeblood of the modern industrial economy"(Bryson 2004), there is too much money at stake for those who endorse water fluoridation . The lies of the benefits of water fluoridation will continue to be fed to the public, not to encourage health benefits to a large number of people, but to profit the military-industrial complex. - The Fluoride Conspiracy
Here is an excellent documentary on the history of water fluoridation for those who want to learn more:

Film Description

A chronicle of the abuse of power and of the manufacture of state sponsored medical propaganda, The Fluoride Deception reveals how military and industry scientists and public health officials buried information about fluoride's potential for harm, while promoting its use in dentistry.

The book reveals that fluoride pollution was the greatest legal threat facing the Manhattan Project and how a group of powerful Cold War industries, who all faced extensive litigation for fluoride pollution, collaborated with officials from the National Institutes of Dental Research, laundering fluoride's public image.

We'll sit with the famous doctor who reported in the 1950's that fluoride was a systemic poison, with tens of thousands of citizens uniquely sensitive to even tiny doses. We'll walk the cobbled streets of Donora, Pennsylvania, in the aftermath of the nation's most notorious air pollution disaster in 1948, and meet the scientist who blamed fluoride for the deaths. And, when a superstar toxicologist is fired in 1995, after discovering that fluoride affects the central nervous system, we'll uncover a stunning connection to the WWII atomic bomb program. Today that scientist joins a growing number of health experts who call fluoride a venomous and hydra-headed poison. They suspect its involvement in a host of modern illnesses, including arthritis, bone cancer, and emphysema, and a spectrum of central nervous system disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and attention deficit disorder.

17425 Why all the hubbub about the fluoride? Don't you all know there are small doses of arsenic in the tap water already? Personally, I think we should make more of a stink about the arsenic, considering that EVERYONE readily admits that no good can come of arsenic-laden drinking water. Maybe the fluoride hubbub is to keep everyone's attention off the arsenic?

Fluoride is regularly contaminated with arsenic, uranium, and many other toxic substances because one of the major sources of fluoride is from scrubbers used in the fertilizer industry. Much arsenic is already naturally in many water reservoirs, additionally it's presence in water as a poison is not in question. No scientist will tell you arsenic in your water is good for you, the same cannot be said for fluoride.

"Silicofluorides, as obtained from the scrubbers of the phosphate industry, contain a wide variety of impurities present in the process water - including arsenic, lead, and possibly radionuclides. While these impurities occur at low concentrations, especially after dilution into the water, their purposeful addition to water supplies directly violates EPA public health goals. For instance, the EPA's Maximum Contaminant Level Goal for arsenic, a known human carcinogen, is 0 parts per billion. However, according to the National Sanitation Foundation, the addition of silicofluorides to the water supply will add, on average, about 0.1 to 0.43 ppb, and as much as 1.6 ppb, arsenic to the water. 205188 Regarding the Arsenic in the water supply. If you read the labels on Homeopathic medications you should see that most of them contain Arsenic (so I guess we should be considering our drinking water as Homeopathic now - and not poisonous). Sure, "NOT"

207200 Fluoride in Water Linked to Lower IQ in Children

Is this the end of water fluoridation?

NEW YORK, Dec. 21, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Exposure to fluoride may lower children's intelligence says a study pre-published in Environmental Health Perspectives, a publication of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (online December 17, 2010).

Fluoride is added to 70% of U.S. public drinking water supplies.

According to Paul Connett, Ph.D., director of the Fluoride Action Network, "This is the 24th study that has found this association, but this study is stronger than the rest because the authors have controlled for key confounding variables and in addition to correlating lowered IQ with levels of fluoride in the water, the authors found a correlation between lowered IQ and fluoride levels in children's blood. This brings us closer to a cause and effect relationship between fluoride exposure and brain damage in children."

"What is also striking is that the levels of the fluoride in the community where the lowered IQs were recorded were lower than the EPA's so-called 'safe' drinking water standard for fluoride of 4 ppm and far too close for comfort to the levels used in artificial fluoridation programs (0.7 – 1.2 ppm)," says Connett.

In this study, 512 children aged 8-13 years in two Chinese villages were studied and tested – Wamaio with an average of 2.47 mg/L water fluoride (range 0.57-4.50 mg/L) and Xinhuai averaging 0.36 mg/L (range 0.18-0.76 mg/L).

The authors eliminated both lead exposure and iodine deficiency as possible causes for the lowered IQs. They also excluded any children who had a history of brain disease or head injury and none drank brick tea, known to contain high fluoride levels. Neither village is exposed to fluoride pollution from burning coal or other industrial sources.

About 28% of the children in the low-fluoride area scored as bright, normal or higher intelligence compared to only 8% in the "high" fluoride area of Wamaio.

In the high-fluoride city, 15% had scores indicating mental retardation and only 6% in the low-fluoride city.

The study authors write: "In this study we found a significant dose-response relation between fluoride level in serum and children's IQ."

In addition to this study, and the 23 other IQ studies, there have been over 100 animal studies linking fluoride to brain damage (all the IQ and animal brain studies are listed in Appendix 1 in The Case Against Fluoride available online at http://fluoridealert.org/caseagainstfluoride.appendices.html).

One of the earliest animal studies of fluoride's impact on the brain was published in the U.S. This study by Mullenix et. al (1995) led to the firing of the lead author by the Forsyth Dental Center. "This sent a clear message to other researchers in the U.S. that it was not good for their careers to look into the health effects of fluoride – particularly on the brain," says Connett.

Connett adds, "The result is that while the issue of fluoride's impact on IQ is being aggressively pursued around the world, practically no work has been done in the U.S. or other fluoridating countries to repeat their findings. Sadly, health agencies in fluoridated countries seem to be more intent on protecting the fluoridation program than protecting children's brains."

When the National Research Council of the National Academies reviewed this topic in their 507-page report "Fluoride in Drinking Water: A Review of EPA's Standards" published in 2006, only 5 of the 24 IQ studies were available in English. Even so the panel found the link between fluoride exposure and lowered IQ both consistent and "plausible."

According to Tara Blank, Ph.D., the Science and Health Officer for the Fluoride Action Network, "This should be the study that finally ends water fluoridation. Millions of American children are being exposed unnecessarily to this neurotoxin on a daily basis. Who in their right minds would risk lowering their child's intelligence in order to reduce a small amount of tooth decay, for which the evidence is very weak." 24224 See, the people who want to save $50,000 have been told that it's all about cavities, and they can't imagine the bang they have been getting for their buck thus far.
Honestly they must have datacenters to keep up with the lies they tell people, I don't know how they keep track of all their stories.

76183 Also, our current technology of waste water treatments can't filter out these poisons from our waste water. As long as our water is being fluoridated, we will be pouring tons of poisons in our rivers and oceans every year, poisons that are in strict violation of EPA rules.

As the Khazarian Zionists implimented all ten planks of the Communist Manifesto in America and other major countries, they have sucked the vast majority of wealth out of the people of the Earth. They now illegally own most of everything of value on the Earth, including YOU and everything you mistakenly believe you own. Fluoridation is only a small part of their multi-gererational plan to kill off 90% of us and enslave the rest. They now have us divided and conquered. Stop competing and start cooperating!

We must unite behind our common goals (and against the psychotic rulers) within our own system of real democracy such as the one at MajorityVoice.com. Either we make our decisions, or others make them against us. And, only We will always have our best interests at heart. Let's rule!

No, not exactly true. A poor state such as Arkansas, apparently has some "hidden" funds to promote this awful poison. http://myemail.constantcontact.com/URGENT--Arkansas-House-Voting-on-Mandatory-Fluoridation-Bill.html?soid=1103759775597&aid=ijIHCDQXc1A is the recent update regarding the recent attempts by the Ark Legislature to slip this one in on the residents of Arkansas. I know the bill SB369 is set to be heard this morning in Health, Welfare and Labor committee at 10:00am, it has easily passed in the Senate last week, with only 7 votes no. (UGH).

This is madness, and I have contacted the entire House with my vote NO> I have been against fluoride since I learned about it back in the 1980's. I cannot believe it is about be fed to the more innocent children. You don't drink suntan oil to keep from getting sunburned, why would you drink fluoride to (allegedly) prevent cavities. Hogwash....
