Towson University: Extra Credit Offered To Students Who Get Flu Shot

Chris, I was just told by a friend of mine that in her Biology course, Introduction to Ecology and Evolution, extra credit was being offered in return for getting this year’s influenza vaccine. No word yet as to whether this will be done for the H1N1 vaccine as well, but this knowledge left me with a disturbed feeling regardless. One, are students with legitimate concerns about getting the vaccine being put at an unfair disadvantage, and two, is undue pressure being put on them to do something that could have potentially long term health effects? It turns out that the clinic on campus ran out of flu vaccines and students are asking for more time to get their injection. This begs the final question, are universities finding ways to get students vaccinated, not by making it mandatory and superseding exemptions, but by creating incentives so that students demand it?

It seems those coniveing bastards will do anything to administer their poisons.
What worries me is the "If all else fails", scenario.

Students are at their most gullible when a carreer is at stake.
If it meant more credit, they'd eat any plate of bullshit.

Anon82.23, clearly he is wrong with the sweeping generalization. Then again, you referred to all university students as 'us' . You and I wouldn't get the shots, but lots of students would for the mere sake of extra credit and their long term career.

For those of you that believe that vaccines are there to help you avoid getting sick, well you are the ones who will die and we will all live because we aren't dumb enough to believe a bunch of political people.

The worst part of all is that we are poisoned with these vaccines from the day were born while our immune systems are still developing. This effect is lifelong and is responsible for dumbing down the society so the elite bankers can have their way with us.

Please people, stop being sheep and for those of you who already have well God has blessed you and may God continue to bless you because you and I are the example humans need to survive and go our own way as a race. I dont know about you but I am sick a tired of having my strings pulled by a bunch of evil bastards. Lets fucking do something about it
