Frog rescues another frog from snake



A snake loses his lunch after another frog jumps in to rescue his buddy!

I didn't see his buddy.
What I saw is when the snake was in the water the snake let go of the frog.

It's at exactly 8:31. Another frog leaps out of the water onto them, it's a split second though and unfortunately the camera man flinched.

9821 Amphibians aren't generally considered as thinking animals, the thought that one would come to the rescue of another of it's kind.

Most probably the "rescue" was coincidental, the other frog just "happened" to jump on or near the snake at that precise moment, or the heroic frog was thrown on the snake by a human conspirator.

Just my opinion though, I haven't spoken to any actual frogs yet...
