76119 Now that is evil. That is outrageous. There's no way he can get away with that. He should be severly disciplined.
If he gets away with it does that mean one can go around killing animals at will? If that poor pup was your pet wouldn't you be outraged? That poor pup could of been someones pet puppy with a happy home. I never in my life saw anything like this or ever thought I would. Who is the Commander of this guy? He can see this video and do NOTHING?
This pup is a conscious being that suffers. This act shows no "compassion" at all.
I suppose if prisoners can be tortured, pups can be thrown off cliffs? Why not?

76119 Marines promises a full investigation into puppy-throwing video
Thursday, March 6, 2008

Military officials say they haven't confirmed the identity of a U.S. Marine seen throwing a puppy off a rocky cliff in a disturbing video.

The Marine's purported name was uttered in the video and has been widely circulated online. The name matches a 22-year-old lance corporal at Kaneohe Bay.

He's a member of the First Battalion, Third Marine Regiment, which returned from Iraq in October.

A working phone number for the Marine or his family could not be found and individual Marines are not listed in the base directory.

Major Christopher Perrine said yesterday that he didn't know whether the Marine had been questioned since the investigation was launched Monday.

The 17-second video sparked sharp condemnation and widespread outrage.

7690 This video is very sad. I would never recommend anyone to join the Army or Marines. They are murderers.

88147 i'll see that everybody is upset of this poor little puppy, that's good it you proves you are all very sensitive.
But what about those 1000000 (=one million living beings= women children old people disabled people sick people traumatized people) irakies who died in an abominable way, it seems that this little puppy is creating more controversy than 1000000 humans killed or tortured or simply blown away in pieces.
But at least you can all sleep well tonight because you felt sorry for a dog but couldn't for those 1000000 irakies i guess they all deserved to die anyway.
A puppy dog unbelievable .............

Worse yet he's a Marine...! Once identified and brought up on charges under the UCMJ he needs to be busted to Pvt fined a years wages and given a year of "hard labor" in the stockade. ...period! This all followed by a dishonorable discharge so he suffers the rest of his mortal life marked as the human garbage that he is....

Too bad Portsmouth Naval Prison is long since closed because that's where he belongs; ie., five years in a Marine brig!

What a sick SOB ...!

Carl Nemo **==

p.s. Yes, 88.147.XXX.XXX I feel sick too about the many that have been killed in a war waged based on cooked intelligence, courtesy of the Wolfowitz-Feith-Cheney rogue intelligence pipeline...! Even this puppy's death can be traced back to the Whitehouse. I suggest you not vote for John McCain; ie., if you care as you say.

76119 88.147.XXX.XXX

You said "what about those..." Just because one mentions about one bad thing does NOT mean one discarda the other bad things that happen.
The "what about" is a ridiculous conclusion. If my father died would you say "what about.."? I hope you drop that idea, its not intelligent. One could always say about EVERYTHING "what about..."
The "what about..." does not make the needless killing of a pup LESS bad.

88147 I didn't say it is less bad evil is evil.
I just noticed that threads about dead irakies did attract less posted comments which is quit disturbing and strange too.
But then again those threads didn't include video's showing them dying . perhaps images are more prone to stirr our emotions i'm sorry for my reaction but i always tend to visualize a situation rather than form an idea, and those images and videos that are on the web showing tortured blown away irakies and palestinians is hard to swallow........
Perhaps i overreacted ..................

88147 PS: the htread which shows a palestinaian mother crying for her baby has one comment posted my only comment : that's what i call outrageous.
So a dog attracted more sympathy than a baby blown away and lying dying in his mother hands, and that's a fact it lies just a few threads below you check for yourself when you stpped mourning for this innocent dog ......................................................................... ?!
But that doesn't shock me and i blame nobody this only reflects what is happening in the world nobody realy cares for palestinians not hammas not fattah it's all mumbo jumbo their trully on their own
Despite this fact they never gave up they are still fighting mentally spiritually and physically, what they are accomplishing defies imagination stones vs battle tanks and fighter jets.
A puppy dog!
Sorry could't helpt it anyway.....

66205 If true, I am surprised that anybody is stupid enough to allow themselves to be filmed throwing a puppy over a cliff while in uniform and facing the camera. Course, when I was in the USMC, there were two guys in our unit that hadn't ever seen a urinal, so I guess anything is possible.

71142 OMG! This world is cruel! WOw! I couldent watch it at all!...brakes my heart! i hope those 2 men go too jail ! FOREVER! i Hope that puppy dident feel no pain at all.....the end.....this world is efin mest up! 9ch7a

Posted: Mar 10 2008, 10:38 PM

67142 As many times as I've seen this posted, I still can't watch it -- and I've watched beheading videos while eating pizza!

The reason animal abuse garners more outrage then people abuse is that animals are seen to be completely innocent and utterly dependent upon the goodwill of humans. Animals literally have no chance at all if a human is determined to hurt them. People victims at least have their wits to help them escape tough situations -- animals don't even have that.

4243 But you will.

If you just keep looking over your shoulder.......oh, you will never expect it when it comes. But I guarantee you it's not going to be fun.
Marine, (scum) You know nothing about Karma

Oh, you're thinking "sick and stones..." NO, you low life murdering piece of shit. You are an unconscious worthless bastard. You will learn to eat shit and become acustom to it.
Hell is you next home, and it isn't a cake walk like Iraq.

You duty to you country is jail or Bush's torcher acceptance.

Your whole life has been turned to shit now live it. Hero, I think not.
"Please God let me trough this bastard off a cliff" . But I don't want him to die. just live in life long pain.

I have a friend in the Marines. Like any group of people, the Marines have their good apples and they have their bad apples. All because this one is a sociopath doesn't mean they are all like that.

88147 Of course not and i suppose santa clause killed those one million irakies and some fary accompanied with 7 little dwarves has dropped tonnes of depleted uranium in irak.
Now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense .................

Posted: Mar 12 2008, 11:47 PM

67166 Now that is just a STUPID thing to say humble being. Not everyone in the marines is evil because of the action of these men. I'm not saying that what they are doing isn't ethically wrong, but the marines, as individual people, are not evil, generally speaking.

And for the love of god, it is spell Iraqis. You make yourself seem like a fucking idiot when you can't even spell it right. They are from IRAQ, not IRAK.

Generally speaking, you people make yourselves sound like you have a 6th grade education, if even. Learning to spell and getting your grammar at least readable is a very important step that you should take before making any further arguments. I'm not even out of middle school yet and I can do better than the majority of you. That is just sad.

And yes it matters! You people are making yourselves sound like the uneducated, back-hills people that so many people think Americans are. How can you make a decent argument when you can't even spell the nationality of the people correctly!

7050 People shut the fuck up, its a mere puppy. SO what you most of you are saying is this soldier should be "severly disciplined" because he threw a puppy of a cliff when its perfectly fine for them to kill innocent civillians and etc. Soldiers are weapons. Get mad about the millions killed over the years for no valid reason. Grow the fuck up people

Posted: Mar 13 2008, 12:12 AM

7050 Fuck i feel like getting a box full of puppies and chucking em off the side of a cliff. looks like a fun afternoon.

19474 For those of you who argue about spelling problems i write irakies because i'm from europe belgium tobe more specific that explains perhaps why i did a spelling mistake ..........
But at least i don't show hypocrisy since when has a dog show more value than the lives of so many people killed?
