GAZA, Sept 4 (KUNA) -- Israeli warplanes bombarded a house in Jabaliyah refugee camp in northern Gaza Strip, said a security source on Monday. The source said "An Israeli F-16 fighter jet launched a rocket on the house which belonged to a Palestinian citizen causing it to crumple." "Due to Israeli warnings, the two-story house was evacuated half an hour before the raid began," said the source, adding that no casualties were reported. The Palestinian citizen, whose house was demolished by the attack, is a member of the Popular Resistance Committees in Gaza. Israel accused the Palestinian group of conducting several operations against it. |
