Former Police Officer Pleads Guilty To Having Sex With Teen

Officer Had Intercourse With Teen On Four Separate Occasions

SAN DIEGO -- An ex-San Diego police officer pleaded guilty today to having sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old female student on four occasions while he was assigned to Southwest High School in southern San Diego.

Cedric J. Green, 45, faces anywhere from probation to five years in state prison when he is sentenced on Sept. 13.

In a hearing before Superior Court Judge George W. Clarke, the defendant -- who is out of custody on $290,000 bail -- pleaded guilty to four counts of having sex with a minor more than three years younger than himself.

Green admitted having sex with the 17-year-old Southwest High student on April 7, April 10, April 13 and May 8, said Deputy District Attorney Rachel Cano.

Fourteen other counts involving other sex acts were dismissed, the prosecutor said.

The victim is expected at the sentencing hearing, the prosecutor said. Green, a 21-year police veteran, was part of the Southern Division Juvenile Services Team. He was suspended from the force following his May 16 arrest, and has since resigned, Cano said outside court.

The married officer had been assigned to Southwest High, located in the southern San Diego community of Nestor, for the past 14 years.

Officials at Southwest High notified San Diego police on May 10, and the department's Sex Crimes Unit investigated the case for six days before arresting Green.

The defendant had previously worked at Mar Vista High in Imperial Beach.

Actually this piece of trash with a badge worked at a middle school prior to being at Southwest H.S. There he was known as a sleazy bragger about his sexual prowess with women - even though he was a married man. His exact words " I have not been a saint" - among other things in reference to his lack of character. I am sure Cedric remembers who he said this crap to. This poor excuse of a man is not to be pittied for his indiscretion - as it was no accident on his part. He simply got caught with his pants down finally. Too bad this now child molester did not do real time in prison - where he really belonged. Hopefully his family has wised up and turned their back on this piece of garbage....................
Each day Old "CJ" as he liked to be called can now wake up and think of the career and family he threw away so he could be a real tough and macho guy out on the streets - or so he thought.......

For anyone interested, heres a little update on CJ. I have the displeasure of working with CJ everyday at the Santee TjMaxx. He works in the Backroom where he complains and does a shitty job instead of being thankful he's not in prison serving a real sentence. No one at work knows hes a convicted felon, so he makes up various stories to prove he's superior to his job title. He says things like "I'm retired. I only work at this dump for fun money" He makes everyone uncomfortable and continually makes inapproiate remarks to women including "hey so and so, do you give a good blow job" Nope this little bastard hasnt changed. Just be thankful you dont have to see him on a daily basis. Clearly TJ Maxx's background check is not up to par.

I went to Southwest High School and I would always see this pig flirting and being touchy -touchy. One day, my friends and I decided to cut school. Suprise, suprise! Guess who caught us? The pig. He started flirting with us and it seemed that if we flirted we weren't going to get in trouble. That was a bit too much for me. I am a very spontaneous so I told him you better stop this right now or else... I've seen you flirting with the girls and you probably done more. If you get my friends and I in in trouble we will accussed you of sexual harrassment. He was like you girls are still going to be in trouble and serve detention for a long time. I was like no we are not because if we do you'll go to jail. Time passed and he never gave our names to the principal. At the time I was super happy because we didn't get in trouble. At the back of my head I always knew that he didn't say anything because he was hiding something. His silence gave him up. --- BC
