Study: Wars could cost $4 trillion to $6 trillion
posted 10/01/2010, 12:21 AM (Stripes Central) [Category: Politics/Corruption] The authors of the book "The $3 Trillion War" noted in a conference call on Wednesday that when they first released their findings two years ago, the estimates were widely criticized as being too high. Now, the researchers believe they may have been too low.That's $6 trillion stolen out of our economy through taxation and inflation wasted on killing foreigners and corporate welfare to the military industrial complex. Is there any wonder why we're in a depression? |
Looking for Leaders -- And That's the Problem

In a recent op-ed he laments that the Tea Party we hear about -- which he dubs the Tea Kettle movement because it's full of steam -- "has no plan to restore America to greatness." It focuses merely on symptoms of a country in decline.
