Democratic Rep Harley Rouda got into Congress on the back of the Russia hoax in 2018 by shamelessly smearing distinguished Rep Dana Rohrabacher as a Russian agent.

"Dana Rohrabacher is being investigated for conspiring with [the Russians] yet Donald Trump and Dana Rohrabacher continued taking us backwards siding with Vladimir Putin over America's interest," Rouda said in a disgraceful smear ad in Jan 2018.

"I'm running for Congress to move us forward in Washington ... not collude with Putin," Rouda said.

On Tuesday, Rouda officially lost his race against Republican challenger Michelle Steel, who had the endorsement of Rohrabacher.

Steel narrowly defeated Rouda 49.1%-50.9%.

Rouda conceded the race to Steel on Tuesday afternoon.

In other positive news, Republican Rep. Darrell Issa is also returning to Congress in California.

Issa, who is a Lebanese-American, was notably nearly assassinated by Jewish Defense League terrorists in 2001.

Republicans flipped 9 seats for a net gain of 6 seats in California.

As I reported last week, Californians strongly rejected an effort to repeal the state's ban on Affirmative Action.

The move to reinstate racial discrimination was strongly pushed by Democrats in the name of fighting racism.

Perhaps Democrats and Governor Gavin Newsom outrageous decision to decriminalize men having sex with boys right before the election was a step too far even for Californians!
