Republicans Delay Kavanaugh Vote, Invite Accuser to Senate Hearing to Hear Her Baseless Allegations

Liberal anti-Trump professor Christine Blasey Ford accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh -- without evidence -- of getting handsy with her some 36 years ago at a party in high school was enough for Jeff Flake to give in to Democrats' demands and delay Thursday's committee confirmation vote.

From Fox News:
President Trump praises Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh amid allegations of sexual misconduct; chief White House correspondent John Roberts reports.

The Senate Judiciary Committee invited Judge Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford to a public hearing next week after decades-old sexual assault allegations surfaced. Multiple sources have told Fox News Thursday's committee confirmation vote has been postponed.

[...]Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., on Monday said he "would have voted no" if a public hearing with Kavanaugh and Ford wasn't agreed to.

Flake said Ford's allegations deserve to be heard, and said holding a hearing is the "best" and "only process we have."
Gee whiz, I wonder why Flake's own constituents hate his guts and his replacement, Martha McSally, refused to accept his endorsement?
Sharing similar sentiments, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said the confirmation proceedings can't go forward without listening to Ford.

"Let's say that if for some reason [Kavanaugh's hearing] implodes next week, the system worked," Graham said.
What type of "system" is derailed by 36 year old (or is it 35 year old?) evidence-free allegations dropped at the last minute by partisan hacks for entirely political purposes?

This is the most disgusting smear job in history. Hopefully, if Kavanaugh makes it through this witch hunt he'll dedicate his life to sticking it to these Democrat scumbags.
