 College sophomore Miriam Weeks found herself at the center of an international controversy last year when she became infamous as the "Duke porn star." Now, Weeks wants to make waves in the political world. She's working with a libertarian group on her campus and has a burgeoning public speaking career. In a phone conversation with Business Insider on Monday, Weeks discussed how her adult film career influenced her libertarian activism. "I think that my work and being in the porn industry definitely hits on so many libertarian themes like free speech, and censorship, and, you know, choice and autonomy over our bodies," Weeks explained.
